No need. I added your list to his list. That Word document now has 116 pages. I use color codes to scratch off one I've fixed. Here is a screenshot of page one of y'all's joint submission to me. Green means I fixed it but have not cross walked it to the Excel, Brown means I want to add the actual city to the database, blue means I cross walked it to the Excel already. The dark blue just means I had fixed it at some earlier point in time after the last MAster.csv was generated.
But all of these are in support of a project I started several months ago to go through every MLB'er and validate the city of birth and year of birth. Here is screenshot of that tracker. In the excel, green means the database is correct, red means incorrect and blue means I've already fixed it. Even if no one else had uploaded a list, my project (with the help of luckymann who has been assisting me going draft class by draft class to fil out the initial green/reds) would have found them all. Given the interest of late, I'm trying to get as many as possible done before OOTP26's release.
So, everything submitted will be cross walked from the joint Word doc to the Excel even if the Excel is the master checklist.
So, to everyone that cares about it, know that it is not an afterthought and someone is actively working it, even if that person has a day job and a family and other OOTP stuff going on. Have faith
Oh, and the ID is actually the absolute best way to tag the player. ;p
