It's interesting I like playing with historical minors, but I have the opposite opinion of you. I love seeing career minor leaguers/awful major leaguers having big careers. Pitchers it seems to happen more often because injuries tend to impact them more, and teams tend to need more pitchers then hitters in a given season, leading to a higher chance of non-major leaguers making it
I know it's been suggested, but I imagine with a very low TCR, you should end up seeing less minor leaguers make it to the majors. Would be curious to see Boyett's original ratings, as some of the minor league guys tend to have one rating that's really high, and it makes it easier for them to end up booming like Boyett did for you
