A fine start...
The Rays got a big win in New York to open the ALDS, torching Carlos Rodon for four homers including a pair from 
Christopher Morel, and 
Bailey Ober continued to be one of MLB's best trade deadline acquisitions as he dominated the Yankees over 6 innings, allowing but one run on two hits (an Aaron Judge homer, no shame in that). 
Shane Baz will go tomorrow to try and put the Rays in an enviable position.
In the other ALDS opener:
Kyle Manzardo's RBI single was the only run and Tanner Bibee went 7 2 0 0 2 8 to lead the Guardians to an early series advantage.
And in the NL it looks like the Giants and Dodgers are on a collision course for the NLCS:
