My wishlist for OOTP 27 (Continued)
5) Copying of large datasets. When you set up Lineups and Depth Charts for a team you manage, the game has a simple way to copy your lineup vs. right handed pitchers. The game has Action options that allow you to copy all the settings for both Lineups and Depth Charts to your vs. left handed pitchers all at once, rather than doing it manually one player/position at a time.
This function should be applied to other areas of the game as well. For example, a new owner or manager has a long list of preferences to complete. Theoretically, you would want the owner, manager, and coaches to all be on the same page with these preferences. It would be helpful if you could copy the manager's prefs to all the coaches. You could always tweak them later so that the hitting & pitching coaches focus on their areas a little more, but the large list of general prefs are already set.
Likewise, if setting up a fictional team, this copy/paste function could be invaluable. Of your 15 batters, you will likely have 8-10 that will have similar ratings. Same thing with pitchers. Whether you are creating an average team or a team of superstars, you could save a lot of time by having a similar set of base settings to start with. Again, you can tweak a pitcher so that a slider is his "out pitch" or a batter to make him great singles hitter or a slugger.
More copy/paste functions throughout the game would save players a lot of time, especially when setting up new leagues or teams.
