Is it possible to import 6.51 League into V2006?

I have a Dynasty league, the Alltime Allstar Association, that I want to import into V2006 or V2007, is there a mod to import it and not lose the history?

I was told that there might be one to do this.

You will lose your player history, but I have a nifty utility that will bring all of your players history into 2006/2007. Check www.PlanetOOTP.com to download it.

The program works 99 percent of the time, but sometimes people modify their history text files and if they do it wrong, it throws my program for a loop. But, if that happens, just email me and get me the files and I will fix the program to work around the problem and also do the conversion for you.

So far my program has a perfect record, or at least I was able to convert the ones that had problems.

Great News.

I really want to convert my AAA league to V2007.

I haven't changed any files...don't have the knowledge to do things like that.

I'll be in contact.

Thanks for the help.

Keep in mind that team history won't come over though. But they are working to make this possible.

Your history importer does work like a charm. I brought two 6.5 leagues into 2006 and all the player histories followed nicely. The one thing it hiccuped on was end of the year awards like top, pitcher, hitter and rookie. It replaced the month/day with the award code. When I try to edit those lines in the editor, it throws a run time error, but doens't crash the program. I just retype the line and delete the bad one. I can send an example if you want. I also saw it doesn't migrate retired players histories?

Any plans to potentially make a team/league history migration tool? I'm sad to see my 30+ years fo league history lost in the transfer. Is there a way to do it manually?
