Build 26 - Players not retiring
Just simming through seasons as unemployed.
I'm at the start of september 2021 and Teemu Selanne have just signed a contract with LA Kings. I can't really find any player, from the start of the game, who isn't still playing. Anyone having the same "problem"? |

Not sure if players are retiring or not but i noticed a player that had been retired for years sign eith an nhl club - 43 year old Zigmund Palffy! My guess would be that no players are ever retired. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gordie Howe with a new contract

Didn't know that Ziggy was still playing in the Pro ranks. He was one of my all-time favorite Islanders.

I think I know what might've happened here, the code that was retiring players in non-playable leagues was disabled (in favour of a different method), but I'm wondering if it got the playable leagues, too, where there's no alternate way of ending their careers. I'll get Malte to check it.
