At the top of the screen select "game", then go to Setup/Options. There you can adjust the injuries. Lower the number to have less injuries.

Thank you for the reply when I go to adjust the numbers what should they be? I'm guessing the higher the number more injuries and lower is less?

I changed it from 1.25 to 1.00 and it´s way more realistic then

After tuning it down to 1.00 i had the occasional injuries but all in a decent manner (out 2-3, 5-7, 10 days) and rarely serious injuries - all in all, injuries always happen and there´s still the random factor (i had one game where Sid and Geno had career ending injuries in the same season...lol) but with this setting i made the experience it reflects reality in a close manner - hope that helps

Very glad that i could help you a bit

Hehe...Although i´m a die-hard Pens fan (i guess the only one in Austria) loosing Sid and Geno forever didn´t hurt me that much as it would if i´d loose someone out of Francis, Ulfie Samuelsson, Kehoe, Trottier in my historical games - As you might have already seen on my historical facepack, i´m waaaay more interested in the Historic Mode than in the regular mode. So, take away my all time fave players from the 70´s and 80´s and i´d probably throw my notebook out of my window.

P.S. .....and of course - beating the Bruins always bring a fat smile to my face...hehe

We found some problems a few weeks ago in the way the injury system was working - basically, right now the individual injury ratings aren't having anywhere near the effect they should. So most players have a middling likelihood to get injured, which generates a realistic number of days lost to injury, but spreads them over a wider number of players than get injured in real life (rather than having big chunks of days lost concentrated in a few injury-prone guys.) That leads to a higher likelihood of several of your players being hurt at once.

That'll be fixed in the patch; we've had the fix in the test builds for a while now and the last time I checked, was spreading the injuries in a little more realistic way. I still want to tinker a bit with the number of practice vs. game injuries, but the overall situation should be improved when you see it.

Oh boy oh boy where should I start lol samuelsson is by far the cheapest dirtiest player I've ever seen he's lucky Neely didn't kill him lol but other then that the pens have a rich history some all time great players
