Sending players to ECHL

Why's the AI sending good players/prospects to the ECHL? If a player is ranked 5th on the depth chart and is very close making it to NHL you will never send him to ECHL. That's not the case in FHM, a very productive AHL player can go from AHL to NHL and back to ECHL. Not very realistic.

If you send down a player to ECHL it's a sign of disbelief and you will never see him in NHL again.

There were some changes in 4 to cut down on the number of guys getting dropped down to the ECHL when they should've been in the AHL; I'll have another look to see if there needs to be some additional work.

ECHL really isn't a death sentence for careers anymore, though. There were close to 100 ECHL alumni in the NHL last year.
