Real teams with fictional players?

What would be the easiest way to make a league with real teams (yankees, dodgers, etc) but fictional players?

New real world league simming 25 years into the future? Fictional league while manually adjusting team names & settings? Possible to start a new current game and replace the real players with fictional ones?

Can`t you just start a game with the real teams, dump all players in the free agent pool, delete them, and let the game fill all team rosters with fictional players?

What I did was start a fictional game and simply renamed the teams with real MLB names. Everything else is fictional except I used the current stadiums their counterparts play in. But even here I renamed some of the stadiums with old-time real names.

When you create a fictional league you have the option to use the real world setup and then you would have real teams with fictional players.

Select create fictional league Top right look where is says Or select a world league configuration. If you select Major League Baseball you will get all the real teams and all the minor league and it will use 100 per cent fictional players.
