Single Division Single League All-Star Game

I don't know how you'd separate them, but I'd like to see an all-star game in a single division league.

Some ideas:
-oldest versus youngest
-north vs south or west vs east
-you pick which league teams' players play on which all-star team
-last year's championship team vs all-stars
-league nation vs the world

i would even settle for the players from the one division being named to the all-star team without them actually playing

Please add this. I've been wanting to eliminate the two sub leagues in my save for a long time opening up infinite possibilities of World Series matchups, and insuring that the best two teams in my game regardless of sub league have a better change to meet in the World Series. Loosing the All-Star game has been the one thing that has kept me from doing it. As far as how to do the game, this thread has some interesting ideas, but I would be okay with just placing all the players randomly on two teams. You could just call them "All Star Team 1" and "All Star Team 2."(personally I would prefer "AS Red Team" and "AS Blue Team" but it makes no difference to me.) Whatever would be easier and quicker to add for the developers.

Idk if you know this already, but you can have an all star game with one sub league with 2 or 4 divisions.

These all remain great ideas. I also agree it would be good to include an option to just choose a single All-Star team and not have it play a game. Or to have an NBA-style game where the teams are drafted from a pool of players. And the option to have an All-Star game after the season and playoffs are over. (I personally like this because then you choose All-Stars based on a full season of stats rather than 2/3 of a season.)
