Perfect League

When does the Perfect Level league start? I noticed there are Diamond levels and were last week, but no perfect league yet.

There were three Diamond Leagues with 30 teams. That’s 90 teams to pick from.

Last year you had to win diamond to get into PEL, making it very tough to get into. I imagine it will be the same this year, so most likely we'll need 30 teams in diamond first.

maybe when we get to 15 Diamond leagues, so they can just promote the two WS teams in each league to Perfect and start from there.... all just speculation... we'll find out when it happens, obviously

I doubt it, to be honest. That would take away from the "prestige" of being in perfect if they aren't all diamond champs.

correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there 40 teams at the Perfect tier in v21? Never made it there with my clubs, but I recall the playoff structure was slightly different than the standard leagues (there wasn't a one-and-done WC, for example)....

Yep eventually it did grow beyond 30, but was never less than 30.

(not that I made it either...I just know from my jealous watching from the sidelines)

I think the first season of perfect last year had 20 teams in it. You fall out of perfect league when you don't make the playoffs, and they max-capped diamond leagues last year I think at 24. For the first season of perfect I think there were 20 diamond leagues whose winners were all put in perfect for that first week(or season). By the second week, it got up to close to 30 teams.
