Tournaments

I know we generally use the forums to air our complaints, but I figured I'd share a message of appreciation about tournaments this year.

I'm really enjoying the variety and mix of tournaments as they change over the months. Last year I would only spam bronze tournaments and I've enjoyed the game more by building unique rosters and using more of my card set. I was TKOed in the first round of the Low Bronze Cap but I still enjoyed getting to use new cards that never saw the light of day in my regular bronze rosters. Same with the different card types and era limits. I'm even one of the weirdos who likes the round robin formats.

While it has been a frustrating launch in a lot of regards, all the tournaments and working towards the PTCS has been a lot of fun. Thanks, I know it takes a lot of work!

Agreed. The Dev Team has done a great job with tourneys this year.

Thank you for the kind words. The team has worked very hard to create a new variety of tournament formats, while also creating flexibility in the system to allow all kinds of versatility that we've never had before. It's great to hear that you're enjoying it. This was an area the team wanted to look at closely and it's been wonderful to hear that it paid off and you're enjoying it.

We do have one last thing we're trying to complete, so that PTCS qualifying is even more fun. Hopefully, we will have the leaderboards updated at least once a day so you're aware of your place in the race.
