Two Bugs Noticed
Loving OOTP25 so far and the patch seemed to fix a good bit of my issues. Two things I noticed though:
1. Fan Interest seems to be exceedingly hard to influence. Despite trading for several players with Popular and above national and local popularity, my fan interest remained low. I was playing as the Pirates in 2024 with their exceedingly low fan interest of 33. I saw a previous post from before the patch, so I wanted to bump the issue since in my experience it still remains after the patch. 2. I've run into an endless loop when trying to access the retired players database. I love taking a look at the retired players and seeing who still has high ratings despite being retired to set up my own comeback scenarios. When trying to load the page, I get stuck in an endless loop where the page will "load" with the first page of retired players being scene before the loading page reappearing and OOTP25 going unresponsive. This cycle continues seemingly continuously. I was wondering if it was just an issue with taking a long time to load, so I let the program run for an hour and it was still loading when I got back. Thanks! |

Is this the page/view that is hanging up? Mine loaded very fast actually despite there being 872 pages. This is the MLB 2024 Starting Day game set-up. I was trying to replicate the second issue you listed.

No, the page I am having trouble loading is under league history. I haven't had an issue loading other long lists like in player search, just with the retired players list. Just to make sure I tried replicating it again, and basically I did was:
1. Used continue game to load last save 2. In the top bar go to MLB -> League History -> Retired Players 3. Click from "Recently Retired" to "Retired Players" This starts the cycle of getting the "Reading Players" loading screen noted in my original post. Of note, I do currently have a filter on that due to the loop, I am unable to clear. Is it possible that filtering is handled differently for the retired player list? EDIT: Misread page you posted, sorry about that Last edited by dkduke101; 03-30-2024 at 12:51 AM. |
