anybody else experience this problem?

I am using the high school age debut database. I go to the retired players and pull them for coaches (create them as bench coaches). As I do this I save periodically just to backup all my work. After a few saves however, when I go back to the retired players list, the player id's must be mixed up because now I click on a guy named Adams and a profile for a guy name Akido shows up...this happens on every player in the list.....can I fix this without starting all my work over again. This is easily the tenth time this has happened with my different leagues....glitch in the game? Is there such a thing as too many saves? Any suggestions would be appreciated. -Jay
