We are at Opening Day 2011

League Background
The RTBL was formed following the 2009 MLB season after the League as a whole was in financial turmoil. Six owners (Toronto, San Diego, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Washington, and Kansas City) abolished their teams and staked ownership into the remaining 24 teams by donating $240,000,000.00 dollars into a general fund that would be distributed amongst them and their players would enter into a pool where the 24 remaining teams will hold a 3 round draft. The league (to help fix the financial burden) restructured the divisions to cut down on travel plus add a little more value into inner state rivalries with the hope to bring excitement back into the league.

We are getting ready to start the offseason, with arbitration starting on Wednesday 11/10/10. Boston is the only open team we have and they made it to the ALCS, so they haven't been destroyed. There is a link to their home page on the original post under Boston. Let us know if you are interested so that we can hopefully get you in the file before the sim on Wednesday.

- LA Dodgers now open.

- Also, Florida and Cleveland are more than likely going to open up if we don't receive an export from either of them tonight.

Not sure why no one has taken the Indians yet. 3rd overall pick next year and plenty of Minor Leaguers; ill jump in and take them. Hopefully some wins can still be salvaged out of FA.
