Best on iPhone or iPad?

I'm considering purchasing MLB Manager 2016, for use on my iOS devices.

Does the app work better on iPhone or iPad?

I have primarily played the game on an iPhone 4s but I've found the experience much better on an iPad.

Personally, I like it on Ipad mini much more.
