Did Perfect Team Sim just crash my regular game?

I've been playing along with Perfect Team throughout the day. I just jumped in to see what's up and there was about 20 minutes until the next sim, so I went to play out a game in my regular OOTP league. Around the 8th inning, OOTP just vanished. When I restarted it, Perfect Team was in the simulation. I lost the game I was playing in my regular league. If this happens again, is there a way to turn off Perfect Team while I'm in my regular league? Thanks.

No, these are not really connected. The crash was likely caused by something else.
