Heading into final turn of 1975 date currently August 18th. Red Sox, Oakland and Big Red Machine are on cruise control, however in NL East the Redbirds have surged from last at All Star break into tie for first with Phillies. The Atlanta Braves at 39-84 are first team mathematically eliminated. Back on Friday with conclusion of regular season.
