Replay Issues

I'm a long time user of the game and appreciate it greatly. I participate in an on-line league and I get a lot of enjoyment out of replaying my team's simed games. Unfortunately, as it applies to me, this year's version of the game crashes during replay. I have tried to take many of the steps recommended in the tech section without success, other steps seem a bit too complicated for this old dog. Anyway, my question is, if I purchase another version of the game through Steam, is there any chance that could fix my problem?

A different license is unlikely to fix any issues related to this. Generally speaking, problems involving watching replays are either needing updated drivers, or sometimes will need you to verify that the animations are installed properly on your machine, or related to something else in regards to the 3d setup.

Generally speaking, issues with 3d, the best bets are to 1. update your video drivers and then 2. to reinstall the game and force game data installation. If those don't help, please do feel free to post more details on your setup (most notably in this case would be to enable tracing and send us the ootp_trace.txt files), and we can try to help you more.
