Live Start - Players Ineligible for PO Rosters?

Long time OOTPer here. I purchased OOTP 22 today and am using the live start option for the first time in any version. I want to start my game with this year's Play-offs.

In setting up my game I noticed a number of Brewers players assigned to the AAA franchise, and not a member of the 40 man roster that should be eligible for the PO Roster, and likely will be on it come Friday. These include Rowdy Tellez, Tyrone Taylore and Jackie Bradley Jr.

When I add them to the 40 man roster they still are not eligible for the Play-Off Roster. Is there a way to edit these players to make them eligible?
