Outside of spamming tournaments(which gets old fast) not sure how to improve the team from here. Even packs are a slog at this point as of the hundreds opened, the majority are duplicates.

My apologies in advance to Hank Aaron, Mark Prior, and Shoeless Joe for the decades of seasons you will be participating in.

Do you play the updates? One coming tomorrow. That's been the best way for me to upgrade the team.

That's OK. Hank will probably struggle along until he re-establishes himself as the All-Time Home Run King, a title that He Who Shall Not Be Named doesn't deserve. My three Hanks have racked up 238, 218, and 144 career homers so far, which totals to a tidy 600 over about 20 full seasons.

Oh, and those BAL perfects aren't too shabby either. My #3 team replaced every hitter except Hank, 2/5 of the rotation, plus McGraw and Papelbon in the pen on Thursday night and went 46-26 the rest of their way to the Gold .316 title. Of course, it didn't hurt that the other two starting pitchers were Bullet Joe and Smoky Joe.

The Live updates are pretty meaningless at the higher levels as none of the Live cards can compete. I’m in the same boat that there is little for me to do until new content drops. I’ve completed all missions except for five of the Platinum ones. The cost to complete those missions and get the Jerry Reuss is prohibitive right now so I’m just spamming tournaments and saving up packs for the Platinum Series 2 drop expected on the 11th.

True, the live cards are meaningless in actual gameplay - the live updates are meaningful because you can make 200K-500K PP every update fairly easily (or more).
