Lots O' Lefties
This seems to be going on for a while. I've noticed in the Iron tournaments (haven't checked others), many teams with lefty only rotations, and many lefties in the bullpen.
I am guessing it's a strategy to tire out the righty batters, and force the lefties into the line up against lefty starters. But, maybe random, maybe there are just better lefty pitchers available? I noticed that my own line up had 4 lefties, though I did not plan it that way.

Check their ballparks. They may be going for a “lefty cheese” strategy where their ballparks are set to be horrible for RH batters.

But if you see a lot of people doing something in those low-level grinder tournaments it's probably not a coincidence.

Exactly. The best iron tourney hitters are lefties, so you go with a lefty-heavy pitching staff. It's not a strategy to force lefties in because the righties get tired, it's a strategy to keep those lefty bats on the bench as much as possible.
