Player bought and disappeared?

Hey I am fairly new to the game so I suspect my issue is user error and not a bug. I just bought a diamond player for 4001pp, and could see him in my manage cards list. I attempted to put him for sale for 4400. Soon after, he was just gone from my inventory and I had not gotten any pp either. I checked my transactions and they read:
Sell order - card name - `-` - 679
Buy card order - card name - -4001 - 4680

At first I assumed I must have accidentally sold the card for 0. However I then remembered there is a minimum price for each rarity, which I tested and confirmed with an iron card that it's not possible to sell for 0. Can someone help me understand what's going on?
