MLB Dreams is now in v24
MLB Dreams is looking for a few GMs. We are a long-running league that started with a 2006 MLB player set but has since evolved into a fully fictional league. You can see our full rule set here. I run the league as commish only so there are no conflicts with me owning a team as well, and we have an assistant commish to help run sims.
General League Info - We're using most of the current MLB rules, excepting some of the Manfred-specials and we are still on the 2012 version of the CBA when it comes to free agent compensation. - 20-round rookie draft with draft pick trading. We manually manage the draft classes to ensure it is a key tool for rebuilding teams. - M/W/F/Sun sims in the late afternoons PST, 7-days per sim during the season with an accelerated schedule in the offseason. - OOTP24 with upgrades every other version. - Slack for all league communication. - StatsPlus tools and website for trades, drafting, and awards voting. Game Settings of Note - We do not use scouts/coaches. - Player Development is enabled. - 1 to 100 scale for ratings. - Overall/Potential ratings enabled on the 20 to 80 scale. , with overall ratings based on all players. -Player personality ratings are enabled, but player morale is disabled. -Ghost Players for incomplete minor league rosters. We currently have CLE, HOU and SD open heading into the offseason. |

We now have only HOU and LAD open, and are just into free agency heading towards the Rule V draft.

Hi,
I would be interested in the Dodgers. Are they still available? Bill |

Don't join this league. Rules are well written out, but then not followed when they feel like it and followed sometimes when they do. It becomes a: "Oh, we know the rules need updating. We try to tell everyone about that missing stair, but often they have to miss the stair first before we do and we have a note on the wall saying don't worry about the stair, it is there, but we need to pull that note down."
That link to the full rule set here in the ad, don't bother reading it. It doesn't matter, nothing written there matters, they decided what they want to do after that was written and never bother changing it there. Maybe one day it will matter, but today is not that day. Some of the other GMs seemed nice, but barely got to interact with them. |
