Unfortunately, the current version of the development tool tends to cause crashes when you have very large leagues with large player pools. There are certain settings in PHP configuration which can either alleviate it or exacerbate it. Your ability to adjust those settings is dependent on your web host.

I am having a similar issue, I get a 500 server error when I run some processes.

I now load the sql files manually because, if I hit the auto-load button I get the 500 error the first time, but it "completes" if I hit it again...sometimes. but I have no idea what the long term effects of hitting that button twice per load does

the development run 500's out every time.

but the strange thing is, everything seems to actually run, statslab doesn't think so, but we have yet to find something that doesn't update.

I have full server access, whatever php settings need to be changed, can be changed

I booted up my old windows 7 machine and was able to load the file fine. It appears to be something do with my windows 8 installations.

MLB Pro has recently run into a problem with our export tracker.

Yet having double checked, our league file can indeed be downloaded at: mlb | MLB Pro Pro.lg.tar.gz

We are unsure of what settings might have been changed which have caused this problem.

Other current settings include:

League File Name: MLB Pro.lg.tar.gz
League File Path: http://www.mlb-pro.com/lgfiles
Export File Path: http://www.mlb-pro.com/lgexports

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try setting your league file name as

MLB%20Pro.lg.tar.gz

I just downloaded the version for OOTP15.
Anyone that has been using an older version of statslab for an older version of OOTP; just has to overwrite the statslab folder on your server with the new files contained in the statslab folder upon download. You don't have to touch dbopen and config files since they are already running properly.
All of the instructions state (NEW INSTALL) - but the above information applies to (UPGRADES). It all sounds trival but, for those that are not cumfy with servers and such this might help you.

Question #1:
When I "send update" email to all GMs, there exists a GM' email that is no longer involved in the league. How do I go about removing that email? I checked in the "Manager" screen and that person and that email doesn't show up anywhere.
Question #2:
Also in the "Manager" screen a certain GMs email is always changed to another teams email after every update. I went into the OOTP 15 game and the emails are correct for both teams. Is there a way to prevent the emails from switching between these two teams?

Can I get some help on this, I keep getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/paramoun/sqldump/dbopen.php on line 2

Not sure what is causing this but my code is below:

I finally got all my time-out issues solved, worked well for about a month now, all of a sudden everybody is rated 1. I even rebuilt the whole thing and still

Check the players_batting.mysql.sql and players_pitching.mysql.sql files and verify that ratings are actually getting in there. I believe I've seen this behavior in the past after leagues upgraded to new versions but didn't update the MySQL dump configuration, and OOTP spit out all 0's (zeros) for ratings.

When I was having a slow sim issue & I rebuilt the file I must have started with a base that was older than our use of statslab.

Just an fyi. the 16 version does not have the installation and how to for the draft pdf's in it

I'm guessing the 15 version text still applies?

We have completed 5 rounds of the draft in OOTP16 using your 16 version of StatsLab and today when ready to export the picks and import into the game, all of the picks except for the first pick are blank. Our entire draft looks like it has been rolled back to the 2d pick.

I'm the only one with Admin access to StatsLab and I haven't even gone to that page for a week because we'd finished the on line picks.

Any idea what might have happened and if so is there any way to recover.

I did export the list as .csv and it does in fact show only one pick made, so it's not an issue with not being able to find the players listed.

Thanks for your help in advance. We are stuck right now as it's time to run the in game draft
