New YouTube Channel

Hello FHM community,

Come visit my YouTube channel, RetroHockeySteph, putting my TV broadcasting diploma to good use, so here it is

Thank you to FHM for providing a wonderful platform for historical hockey fans. Having thought of many historical scenarios for each NHL club, I'm starting off with the 1996-97 Anaheim Mighty Ducks, attempting to lead Paul Kariya & Teemu Selanne to Stanley Cup glory. With one full season in the bag, there is some content to view asap, so it check it out

Also, if there are similar channels out there, please let me know, would love to view & connect.

Built up a library!

1996-97 Anaheim Mighty Ducks - Kariya + Selanne

1999-00 Atlanta Thrashers - Expansion Redo

1967-68 Boston Bruins - Orr + Esposito

1992-93 Buffalo Sabres - Win Hasek a Cup

1996-97 Calgary Flames - Win Iginla a Cup

Currently on the 2009-10 Chicago Blackhawks - Build a Dynasty

Forgot to mention - if anyone has any historical sim ideas, let me know! I have countless ideas, but always interested in seeing what other people would enjoy...

try to build All - star team of players from Ex-USSR countries excluding Russia. So, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Kazahstan. Let's see how they would do in NHL. You can of course use players from all eras. That means Balderis and Fedotenko on same team

I may attempt this on my next story as the Columbus Blue Jackets redo, with the expansion draft. I may have to edit some player flags as a lot of them have Russia as their primary but an Ex-Soviet country as their secondary.

Or try with all star non-elite hockey nations. That means, no players from nations that won IIHF Men's gold medal in their history (Canada, Russia, Czechs, Slovakia, Sweden, Finland, USA). That could also be fun challenge, as there were a lot of good players through history from other nations (Josi, Draisaitl, Kuhnhackl Erich, Ozolinsh, Zuccarello, Vanek, Kopitar, Huet, Czerkawski, Khristich)....

It's gonna be rough at the beginning, but once when Josi's, Kopitar's come in I am sure Cup is yours

Believe it or not, I actually came back from summer break & am excited to continue.

Just wrapped up the Dallas Stars story, centered around their arrival to Dallas in 1993 & attempting to double their real Stanley Cup # count.
