Artie Perez of Greensboro was named Player of the Week for his AA league.

For the Majors it was Tris Speaker, Braves & Frank Baker, Senators

The Superbas climbed to #6 on the Weekly Power Rankings.

Jack Lapp went 2 for 3 and he walked twice as the Superbas blasted past the Reds, 11-5.

Not only did Wilbur Cooper pitch a shutout, but he also tripled and scored the first run of the game as the Superbas beat the Reds, 3-0!

The Superbas got truly thumped today, losing 13-5 to the Reds.

Max Carey got five hits off Brooklyn.

Eppa Rixey pitched a fine game as the Superbas bested the Cardinals, 4-2.

A big difference was the running game as Brooklyn stole 4 bases without being caught while the Cards stole 1 base and were caught three times.

The good news: The Superbas broke their five game losing streak by beating the Pirates, 9-2. Art Fletcher went 2 for 4 and scored 3 times. Sam Crawford hit a home run!

The bad news: Al Shaw left the game with a strained oblique and word is that Brooklyn will lose him for up to a month.
