OHL Contracts Issue
When playing in the OHL, I can sign players from any team regardless of contract status. If I click on, for example, Anthony Stolarz of the London Knights and press on action in the bottom right, I can then offer him a contract. If I just press submit offer, the player is immediately on my team.

The target, Ryan Pulock, said no, because he prefered to play in Canada ![]() But my second target, Chris Honey, said yes. So the problems exists in the WHL as well. And I wasn't in Commissioner Mode (which could have explained the situation). |

As a GM in the OHL, you can only do it to other OHL players. It doesn't work cross-league.
I made a quick video in case that will help. I don't know why it got all tilted like that, but here it is: FHM Bug - OHL Contracts - YouTube |

Yes, this is happening in my game with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. I tried first to trade for the players, then I clicked "Action" and the option to trade was not there but "Offer Contract" was. Clicked on it, submitted my offer and I got the player I wanted.

Well, the QMJHL wasn't set to respect team rights properly, so that would explain the Q issues, but not the same thing happening with other leagues. I'll make sure it gets looked at.
