Start unemployed then can't get a job?

Not sure if it's a bug or not...
Started latest build as unemployed and in commish mode. Simmed entire first season and notice two things:

1) Cannot get a job after the first season. All teams are listed in available jobs, but there doesn't appear to be any way to actually take one?

2) As an aside, I simmed using "Sim to a specific date" (in this case - June 1st) and then could not use "ESC" to stop the sim earlier than that date.

Very excited about final product. Keep working!

Have you tried right-click and an "take over the team" option (or similar)?

Thank you!
"Apply for Job" while in normal mode and "Take over Team" in commish mode. Not obvious the first time, but will be now.
