Change Affiliations

Is is possible in the final build to change Affiliations?

Also i noticed, you can only expand the NHL in the beta, is that because of the game still in beta? Thought you said something about you can expand other leagues not just the NHL in the GamePlay YouTube video.

With (some) other leagues you can use "Add" in the edit allignment screen, not the expansion wizard

Any idea on how to change Affiliations?

With the new update it will allow u to exit

You can change affiliations on July 1st from the team edit screen (need commish mode on), but it works only in the NHL I guess.

I tried adding teams through league structure without doing a NHL expansion draft it adds NHL teams no problem but when i go to add AHL team it will not allow me to give that AHL team as a farm team to the new NHL team

Yeah, this is a problem. It would be nice to have minor league expansions instead of having two teams not have a minor league affiliate.

Can you have a separate AHL expansion and just send the players manually to the new AHL team?

I asked and was told that AHL/ECHL can have more teams than the NHL.

I don't have FHM5 right now, so I'm not sure. I know in FHM3 you couldn't have minor league expansion though.

In the modern era, neither the AHL or ECHL have expansion drafts.

FHM5 deals with them like it happens in real life, the league allows a new organization to join. In that process, the new team would have to sign FA to fill their rosters.

I was told AHL and ECHL can have more teams than the NHL and yes you can add teams but I think you can expand but without expansion draft;s(sign FA,etc) which is fine by me. Worse case scenario do your on own expansion draft on paper and move the player's with player editor(it isn't hard but might take some time).

I don't remember the thread( I have memory loss issues).

I am trying to get a modern league going today but since I play out some games each day on the schedule it might take awhile.
