Any help in OOTP22?

I know many of you are diehards who are many years deep on this game.

i was hoping some of you could dump some of your players in OOTP22...

Any help would be awesome....

see ya in 24!

PT22 is gone in a week. Servers shut down 9/30/22.

would think they would have a fire sale on 23....

can't believe they would set a DEAD DATE for a 1 year previous generation game..

now i dont even want 24....

Why would they hold onto PT22 endlessly? OOTP22 is still usable, especially if you're playing historical leagues, but to hold onto the Perfect Team element years after the cycle is complete really makes no sense. There haven't been any new missions since the beginning of the year, and you're primarily competing against a dead-man switch. I have 13 teams in PT22 and haven't looked at them in months.

bought the game when it came out. never played it.
started playing it recently.
yes they should have access to servers for 22 at least until 24 is out.
i have 1 ootp 22 team.
1 license
and i will not be buying 23 for a few months that is out of season.
and even more so- if they will not accommodate if i choose to "skip a season" of buying a new game.....
i will not be buying another one.
i buy The Show every year... if i fire up last seasons SHow- the market is still up and running.

The server shutdown is a one-time, extraordinary occurrence that only happened because Amazon is shutting down the company that handled the PT22 servers. I see you missed that part of the announcement. I don't foresee the same thing happening with OOTP23/PT23, so if you choose to do so, you can still hop in when it's out of season and OOTP24 is released.

forgive us if we take a wait-and-see approach after this disastrous year.

Nope. GO let you create 10 teams last year. I only have one additional GO team this year for four total and haven't tried creating another one under GO, so I don't know if this still holds in 23.

OOTP Go! is free and therefore your copy of PT23 is free. During the World Series, the desktop version will be on sale for $10 and if you wait until Christmas, it will be $5. The server shutdown was not their fault, but hopefully they have a better contract with the new server people that preserves the game for 2 years going forward. 90% of players quit playing the old version when the new one comes out, so most customers were not affected by the shutdown. The biggest thing that bothered me about the 2nd season of PT22 was their failure to not cut the quick tournament sizes in half like they did in prior versions when Kris Jardine was in charge.
