Silver league update:

Waffletown maintains a comfortable lead heading into the final stretch. There are multiple paths where the Syrups fail to claim the OL crown, but it would take a nearly perfect run by one of the three NC division teams to do it.

Overall, Hartford has moved into the division lead, with K-Town claiming the second wild card spot. Waffletown sits 3.5 games back of a wild card spot.

Hi all,
I have an OL team in Stone already, and would like to toss in my Cardinals-only team, which is currently in Silver and probably staying there for awhile. It has been FTP from the beginning, and will have my last 2020 Live player removed by beginning of next season. It's all right that I used Live players in past seasons, right?

I'll start loading up on OL friends from the appropriate leagues now.

as long as it's always been F2P and the Lives aren't on the roster next season, it's all good.... added to the online spreadsheet

and since right now it looks like Silver will lose two teams to relegation and perhaps at least one to promotion, any new Silver teams will be welcomed

Highland goes 6-4 in their remaining 10 games to take the Diamond Crown.

In PT play, Cary and Kansas secure WC births while Coney Island will be heading back to Gold.

Resetting my pitching staffs and logging out-be back next weekend.

I tried to send a private message to user 9_Play of the Old Town Bears, who list themselves as an OL team, but I got a message that the user couldn't be found, so I guess that means he/she doesn't log into the forum. So, unless we hear from someone regarding the team, we'll just ignore them.

Silver league final standings:

Waffletown celebrates their second OL crown with a solid run this season.

Overall, Hartford secured the NC West division title (as well as a promotion t Gold); and K-Town nabbed a wild card spot to be the only 2 playoff teams from OL in Silver. If K-Town wins their wild card game, they will also earn a promotion to Gold.

Hooterville and Jefferson Valley will be relegated to Bronze.

(could be a sparse year in Silver next season with Waffletown and the newly joined Bevo Mill club possibly being the only two, should K-Town move up... didn't look to see if any Bronze teams might earn promotion)

be sure to add the -OL tag to the end of the team name and the + on the end of the abbr to make it easier to spot for the others in the group

Both Ring Road and Terra Incognita will go from bronze to silver.

As for relegations, I believe they are:

Jefferson Valley and Hooterville from silver to bronze
Transylvania and Asheboro from bronze to iron
Coney Island from Brooklyn to Staten Island, I mean diamond to gold
Hidden Valley from perfect to diamond

Only missing iron standings. I guess it will be either the Muse or the Tortugas.

It seems Cochise County is the only iron OL team in the PT playoffs.

Only Daytona Beach and Otonokizaka played enough games to qualify for the championship. (All against each other) The Tortugas ended with an 11-8 record over the Muse.

Cochise County IS the only OL team in the playoffs. The other three teams will return to Iron next season.

There were four teams, and at least two of them played enough games, so though it seems a bit weird, within the rules, the Tortugas get the crown.

The standings: (for spreadsheet purposes)

Cochise County - 5-2
Daytona Beach - 11-8
Otonokizaka - 8-11
Vlora - 2-5

Hope to add some PT hardware later this afternoon/evening. I think gold is the only possibility for an OL World Series.

Brooklyn to Staten Island? As if a 100+ loss season wasn't bad enough....

Diamond update-Both Cary and Kansas fell short in their WC games, so for OL teams the Diamond season is officially closed out.
