Ciudad Trujillo Dragones in rd. 2 of playoffs in Stone, so will be in Iron next week for sure.

Silver playoff update:

-K-Town loses in the wild card game (so will remain at Silver)

-After digging an 0-2 hole in the LDS, Hartford came back to win games 3 and 4, only to lose game 5 to finish out the series.

No OL title at Silver this season.

I ran into a limit of 30 users for the Friends List, not 50 as was listed in the original post by Bottom_Of_The_Sixth. Did something change recently?

I'm also having problems with the "League Placement Setting". Although I've submitted my changes multiple times, it keeps reverting back to "Random".
Any suggestions? Do I have to wait until the playoffs have completed for my current league before this setting can be changed?

limit is 30 (think there was talk about it being expanded, but doesn't appear that was the case)....

once you set the preference to use friends list and click submit, you'll want to log out/back in and check it to make sure it updated

If you're still having trouble, click on "troubleshooting" and in the drop down menu click on "upload team graphics." Then log out and back in. I'm not sure why, but uploading the team graphics seems to wake up the servers and alert them to your presence.

Welcome to Our League. The 50 limit was talked about early on in PT 21, but didn't make the cut. It stayed at 30.

The Sidewinders are in the I270 World Series. I'm not sure how often the universe page files are updated, but just a few minutes ago, it indicated that the series had yet to begin.

All other OL teams have been eliminated from the post season.

Let's go Sidewinders!

Well under the dark cloud that is my OL teams, my non-OL team, Sugar Hill Gang won the bronze level WS. The team is comprised of Yankees and Mets from 1969-1979.

Back when Hooterville unveiled the addition of League Logo zippers, to their uniforms, a few season ago, they had no way of knowing just how practical that idea would become as Hooterville has again found itself in the process of moving on back to the Bronze level, again! (Boy, this sounds like a broken record!)

This most recent regulation will make it the 6th season in a row where the Haymakers get promoted to Silver, one year, and be regulated back down to Bronze, the next year.

Needless to say, this pill is a hard one to swallow as currently, Hooterville is the strongest team I have fielded, to date however, the baseball gods are against me.

The stronger my team gets, the worse they play in the Silver League.

And for those of you who are big historical guys, my 93 rated Jimmy Foxx had recorded his worst season batting average season, in the ten seasons he's been on the team.

In very limited play, due to his continuous poor playing performance, he managed to finish with a lousy .177 batting average in 65 games!

There is a rumor going around that league officials are in meetings right now discussing whether or not to change the "Mendoza Line" to now be called the "Foxx Line"!

general reminder to all, double check those friends lists, especially since we have some who have been left out plus two new additions (one Silver, one Gold) into the mix... let's get everyone into the right leagues for next year

I'm sure the Sidewinders wish it stayed that way. And part of it did...unfortunately for them, it was the 0 on their side as they were swept by the Sad Donkeys of Philadelphia.

Logging out and resubmitting the team graphics seems to have helped and after many attempts, it is finally configured to the "Friend's List".

I didn't see any untoward numbers, so, if we did well in iron (I can't fit them all) we got everyone placed. PT did not do so well, placing both my teams in gold in the same division (again). We got Bevo Mill in, but PT stuck them in a lonely outpost and, unless the schedule changes to get them more games, their transition into OL will be only six games. Here's hoping they pick up some games with changes by the first sim. Don't know why, but it often happens.

The standings posted are Silver first and then Gold. I will handle gold, but a volunteer for silver would be nice. Thanks.
