Nearing the midway point, Sierra Vista has jumped to the lead. The Scorpions have a big 4-game series coming up with Vlora shortly, however, both Ciudad and El Dorado have loaded teams with a small slate of OL games coming up that could flip the standings. The downside for both the Dragones and Aztecs is that most of their remaining games are against each other.

The Scorpions, Aztecs, and Dragones all lead their divisions in non-OL play. Asheboro and Daytona Beach are near relegation, but are currently safe.

Cary remained hot and was able to put some space between themselves and the rest of OL. Shinbone stumbled a bit, while Annandale made some strides towards contention, and Weston Pointe kept pace.

NNN would stand for "Non-OL Non-shutout No-hitter". Ring Road's newly acquired Rube Waddell combined with Nolan Ryan for the feat against the lowly Oklahoma City Whirlwinds. Final score was 6-1, as the Whirlwinds used 2 walks, a hbp and sac fly to account for their run.

The Southpaws continued their strong play and wrapped up the crown, awaiting only the end of the season award ceremony. There is a fairly competitive race for runner-up.

With only a handful of games left on the OL schedule, Sierra Vista has clinched the OL I172 title, dominating the league in the process. The Scorpions tormented Daytona Beach and Cochise County in particular.

The Tortugas will turn to Stone after this season, while Sierra Vista looks to be joined in the playoffs by El Dorado and Ciudad Trujillo.

A K-Town title will take most of the sting out of a dreadful non-OL campaign, 52-74 at present, with relegation next.

First log in of the week. Ft. Huachuca needs a split in the final four game series of OL season vs. Death Valley to take the OL title. If not Death Valley wins the crown.

Stanley I will try to look tomorrow so you can get the crown done.

Ft. Huachuca earned the split in their final series to earn the bronze crown.

In PT play Death Valley and Blitzkrieg won their divisions and Jefferson Valley secured a wildcard. Death Valley will be heading to Silver. Odds are in favor of the Boppers also being promoted as well while results will decide whether the Rebels move up or remain in Bronze.

The Muse will be demoted.

On a non-OL I checked in on Coney Island and in their first week out of the OL they won 109 games.

Silver league final standings:


K-Town made the most of their season and claimed the Silver league OL crown while at the same time falling into a relegation spot. Gotta focus on the bright side. Congrats on the OL title!


Overall, Hartford nabbed the NC East division title to earn a playoff spot; and Brooklyn picked up a wild card spot to make it only two OL teams in the post season.
