Online Utilities (OU) for OOTP 13

Hey Getch got a question I updated ootpou for 13 to the 14 version and all looks fine except the header and links background isn't showing up. How do u get the to show up I thought I had to extract a archived files but its only been a few years so need a refresher on how to get the header image and the bg for the links menu to show .

I am trying to reinstall ootpouo on my website with a new different league. I have got it all installed and everything, but was wondering how to re configure the data, so that my new league (same website as the old league) will work. Any help here?

Make sure you have the latest version (6.0.3) and also run Generate UI Files from the Admin screen.

OK, ballofbase.com/cgi-bin/ootpou.pl is the site. I got things to work, following the readme word for word twice. However, I can't get the stats or last sim or any of the great features to work.

Having this same issue again. Images appear to be in the directory, but OOTPOU isn't displaying them.

Using the most recent release and OOTP 14, I continue to get the 500 server error when updating the last sim. I am also getting this with the DEV report as well. This is a brand new league so no idea whats up.

Just a heads up. After seeing the gamecast revert back to not displaying stats properly and almost losing my mind, I finally realized that the different skins a commish might use in-game was causing the issue. So if you still were seeing gamecast stats as all 0's, trying taking the latest file as I think/hope I covered all of the possible skins.

Looks like a permission issue in the OOTPOU image directory:

That's where the images get copied to when you run Generate UI Files. May need to change the directory permissions.

Yeah, looks like WAR and VORP got swapped. I'll fix it up in the next patch.

Issue is likely the memory limit. In larger leagues OU can suck up a ton of memory when running dev and last sim. Can you increase the memory limit?

I need some assistance with this. I've tried everything to increase the memory and it doesn't solve the problem.

I've increased memory limits a great deal, moved to a dedicated IP on GoDaddy, still no luck with these. Getting VERY frustrated.

The image it is trying to use for the background is:

It does not exist. It should be created when you click Generate UI Files, which copies over the contents of OOTPOU/web.zip into the OOTPOU directory referenced by that URL.

ok yea i copied it to there so thats good and my ootpou looks great now and ootpou is using the ootp13 reports header it looks like i assume its cuz i upgraded from 13 version to 14 .

Also im helping out one of my gms with his league and install a fresh copy of ootpou and the head shows the ootp14 background but the links doesnt have a background under it to see the links better. so how to fix that or what to copy to where . the the Generate UI Files never has given the background under the links

ok yea i copied it to there so thats good and my ootpou looks great now and ootpou is using the ootp13 reports header it looks like i assume its cuz i upgraded from 13 version to 14 .

I just manually use the OOTP 13 header since all of the skins are built for the OOTP 13 look and feel. Didn't feel like it was worth redoing all of the skins so you could use the OOTP 14 banner.

You don't have the background image installed. Like soadeathdealer, it can't find the image here:

I double checked the install of OOTPOU and the image is most definitely included in web.zip, so Generating UI Files should extract it and put it there. Feel free to copy it manually, although it worked for my two online leagues just fine.

lol Getch damn it i did up date to the new version but some how ur correct its not reflecting the update so i reupdated and its working fine so not sure what happened but i do feel like an idiot as i dont normally make that mistake maybe the kids got me off my game lol
