Couple of comments on recent posts:

1. If you have a league file with an alternate naming convention fromt the standard OOTP zip, you can enter that filename as the League Name in the StatsLab admin page and the export tracker will look for that filename. Basically, anything with a period in the League Name will override the default.

e.g.
League file is "cbuLGfile.tar.gz"
Instead of entering "CBU" as league name (which causes StatsLab to look for "CBU.lg.tar.gz", enter "cbuLGfile.tar.gz" as the league name on the admin page.

Note that the export tracker can't handle the league file being on a different server.

2. I've updated the first post in this thread with a link to the current patch (v2.1.1). The 2.1.0 link doesn't work because it's out of date.

3. I'll take a look at the scheduler to see if there's something borked with after hours picks. Do make sure you're on v2.1.1 as there were a number of draft fixes since v2.0.2.

Hi there... I'm using SL 11 v2.0.2 in my OOTP 11 league and we've come up upon All Star voting in the first season. I can't seem to get the Starting Pitchers to show up for voting... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Can anyone offer some assistance? Would applying the 2.1 patch help?

The patch won't help with that. You've probably got your innings per game criteria set too high.

I use 1 inning per game for starters and half an inning for relievers.

Frank,

I saw you are using a new build of statslab in the PEBA league. I was wondering when that build may be available to the public. I absolutely love the features in your last public build!

BTW, I noticed a few things that I believe are bugs in the current public build.

The preview information about the streaks that are going on don't seem to be correct in my league. I always end up with the same teams/players for year after year. For example, for the last 10 years the Sports are listed as on a 6 game losing streak for me.

Sim Preview - Next 10 Days - StatsLab for OOTP11

On the Playoff Odds screen, the teams win/loss records are all mixed up.
Playoff Odds Report - StatsLab for OOTP11

The final bug is because the database in my league is a bit corrupt (it crashed during a save at one point).
Stat of the Day - StatsLab for OOTP11
Any idea how I can fix this, other than loading up a backup of my league?

I just thought of two possible features that would be nice to see, if you are so inclined....

1) A simple Notes page, on your team's draft war board.

2) A "save for later rounds" draft list, so we can target players for later in the draft and still have a list to Autodraft from. (In other words, I want to que players for later, but don't want them to get autodrafted so I can't put them on my list at that time.)

Having an issue with widgets.

The Pioneer League

The first four standings is how I want it on my webpage with uniform columns etc... but to get that, I had to copy and paste the entire code into my wordpress and edit it. I assume that this will not update?

The bottom standings were installed with the:

Quote:
<body>
<?php include("/home/avwretro/public_html/widgets/lg_100_sl_0_div_1_standings.wgt"); ?>
<hr />
code. I assume this will update as I update the widget. However, it looks like garbage. How can I get this one to look like the one above that I manually edited? I do not want to have to manually edit the thing every single sim, it defeats the purpose.

EDIT:

Just in case it makes a difference, here is the code for the top 4. I took the code from the widget and edited the table widths to make them uniform.

Quote:
<body>

<table width="312" class='wdgT'>
<thead><tr class='wdgH'><td width="112" class='wdgH_l'>WCL North</td><td width="21">W</td><td width="21">L</td><td width="52">GB</td></tr></thead>
<tr class='wdg1'><td class='wdg1_l'><a href='http://www.avwretro.ho8.com//reports/html//teams/team_59.html'>Idaho Falls</a></td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>-</td></tr>
<tr class='wdg2'><td class='wdg2_l'><a href='http://www.avwretro.ho8.com//reports/html//teams/team_60.html'>Tacoma</a></td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>-</td></tr>
<tr class='wdg1'><td class='wdg1_l'><a href='http://www.avwretro.ho8.com//reports/html//teams/team_61.html'>Las Vegas</a></td><td>0</td><td>0</td><td>-</td></tr>
</table>
But I already know that the chances are slim and none that this thing will update since StatsLab can't regenerate this code -- I'd have to manually move it over constantly. Is there a solution to this? I am a novice web programmer at best.

You'll want to familiarize yourself with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). W3Schools has a pretty decent tutorial here.

CSS allows you to define the appearance/styling of your web page based on the HTML tags and classes. So, for example, you could tell all tables with a class of wdgT to have a width of 312 pixels without having to edit the table code directly.

Thanks for the help! Once I knew what I needed to do I was able to fix it pretty quickly. It is working now.

I keep getting this error. I have checked and re-checked all of the paths, passwords and everything. I've re-uploaded the SQL dumps four times. I have no idea why when I click on the "draft tab" I get this error.

Figured I would post this since this is kind of an urgent matter (for my league, that is) since we want to have our inaugural draft done by next Sunday. I assure you I have tried everything I can think of on my end before bothering you guys with it. I just have no idea how to fix it. Anyone?

Do you see anything on that tab or just the error message? Do you have the most recent version of StatsLab uploaded? Have you double-checked to make sure you have uploaded ALL of the MySQL files required?

This happens only when a commish logs in and no teams have put any players on a draft list yet. It'll be fixed in the next patch, but you should be able to fix it in the short term by either generating the auto draft list or having a team add a player to their draft list.

Installing the patch is just overwriting the existing files with the files in the patch zip.

ok, that's what i did but it unfortunately didn't fix my issue. When I click on exports this comes up

ERROR: No League File Found at: "/game/lgfile/Pastime Baseball League.lg.tar.gz"

When i click on last sim and then box scores nothing shows up.

Are these problems happening because I haven't had a sim yet or is something else wrong?
