The Mundys have used dominance over stable-mate Terra Incognita to grab the the top spot in month two, while the Dragones more well rounded approach has Ciudad Trujillo a close second.

Weston Pointe moved out to a 1/2-game lead in a four way race in the season's second sims.

Parity has found the OL, with every team within 3 games of .500.

El Dragones were on fire to build a comfortable lead as we were forced to miss a day in the standings due to PT issues.

The battle for the OL title goes through the AC West, as Hooterville and Death Valley lead the parade. However, Hooterville faces 3rd place Transylvania 7 times today, beginning with a four game set at the Vlad Castle to begin the day.

Ciudad Trujillo need only win two of their remaining seven games to snare the silver crown. Their only possible rival, Port Ruppert, has completed its OL schedule.

Highland maintained a tenuous grip on the top perch, while Waffletown rallied to join the fray, expanding the race to four teams with a large spate of games remaining on the schedule. To stay viable, the Syrups will need to win their only three games left, all against visiting Jefferson Valley. The Rebels also travel for three against Hartford, and take on Asylum at home. Weston Pointe hosts Krikkit and Ewa Beach for three each, and must go to Highland for three games.The Raccoons are the busiest of all with a pair of three-game road series against Brooklyn and Ewa Beach, and a four game visit to Cary. They also have a four game home stand against Brooklyn and and three with Weston Pointe.

I spent this week on my Coney Island Warriors. I hadn’t made a roster move in months and have only checked in once a week on Sundays just to see how they did. I cleaned out all my reserve cards used for tournaments to add to the war chest and I have several bids currently out. I would like to bring them back to OL next week-Edster007 they are likely to be in Gold as they trail in the WC race and are safe from relegation.

Two weeks ago the Warriors namesake from XX finally won their first World Series. They were promoted to perfect in the 4th week and have remained in perfect since. The team has played .610 ball for their lifetime and it took 82 seasons to win it all. I dont often check my teams from XX but I picked the right week.

All the folks from Lenny's Clam Bar welcome them back. I know it's in Howard Beach, but it just seemed funnier than Randazzo's. Besides, I still remember the commercial on WOR where the owner said, "Tell the waiter you saw this commercial and get a free glass of wine on the house."

Transylvania used a big month of sims to overtake the leaders and push to the top of OL B241. The Impalers took 5 of 7 from Hooterville and 3 of 4 from Otonokizaka to put themselves in position to take the title. Only a 3-game set with the Muse remains for Transylvania.

In non-OL action, several OL teams are in playoff position, with Vlora and K-Town in a battle for the NL East. (The loser will not make the playoffs). Sierra Vista and Otonokizaka are both in relegation spots.

Waffletown does all they can to help their own cause with a 3 game sweep of Jefferson Valley to finish out their OL league play (3 hard fought/close games: 7-6 (12 innings); 2-1, and 2-1 again (scoring 1 run in the 8th and 1 in the 9th).... hoped I didn't over analyze things for game 3 as I bumped Tommy Bond up in the rotation to pitch the final game over scheduled starter Matt Kilroy (since JV has done a lot better against lefties this season)... but it paid off in the end as Bond went a solid 8.2 innings...

now Syrups can only scoreboard watch and see what happens
