Rube Waddell wins the pitching Triple Crown at the Perfect tier!

-28 wins (using a 5 man rotation!)
-2.26 ERA
-232 strikeouts

he's currently riding a 21 game winning streak (last loss May 27) and 24 game undefeated streak.... which means the Syrups will get swept out in the first round of the playoffs

I'm almost tempted to check in on My Cy Young from PT 20. I remember he had a bunch of one-hitters, awards and like 5 or 6 no-hitters when I stopped playing.

Probably won't be checking in again for four or five hours, but here's what I have so far.

St100 - Iron Maiden is in the playoffs after a pretty dominant season.
I282 - Shangri-La, Asheboro, Ft. Huachuca, and Ring Road are in playoffs, the latter two against each other. There were no relegations.
B255 - Illawarra is in the playoffs
B280 - Ewa Beach is in the olayoffs
B321- K-Town topped Cochise County in the playoffs. No relegations.
S-252 Playoff tree attached. Blitzkrieg going down to bronze.
G303 - Playoff tree attached. Southside and Hartford going down to silver.
D370 - Laramie was eliminated. Palolo stil alive. Highland relegated to gold.

Flying the flag alone in B255, Illawarra Flame were knocked out in the Divison Series but still secured a promotion spot into Silver.

Please add ProfScoobs if you'll be in Silver next season

We're down to two possibilities for world series winners, with
Weston Pointe in the finals in gold, but trailing 3-2. The big new is that we have an all OL series in iron with Shangri-La leading Asheboro 3-2.

I did the relegations earlier, so here are the promotions:

Iron Maiden is going up to iron.
Shangri-La, Asheboro, Fort Huachuca, and Ring Road all going up to bronze.
Illawarra, Ewa Beach, and Transylvania going up to silver.
Jefferson Valley, Norwood, and El Dorado going up to gold.
Weston Pointe and Flatbush going up to diamond.

Please, please, let's do our best not to miss anybody this week. Check your list and submit.

I'll check back in an hour or so to update the world series.

Wow, first ever championship for the Dragons in 29 seasons! And the first playoff appearance in 14 seasons.

I have been rebuilding the team for the past month and slowly removing the special edition cards.

From what I can check, it seems Illwarra got missed again. Not sure why. I know at least my two silver teams have them. I thought that might be enough to pull them in. Here's silver and gold. Illawarra is in. See attachment. Oops.

Unless you are referring to a different team, Illwarra did make it in as they are currently (preseason) being shown in the Silver 270 NC East Division.

Other OL teams in that same division are the Hartford Whalers and the Transylvania Impalers.

Flatbush has zero, ZERO right to be in Diamond. They are a silver team at best that caught crazy luck two seasons in a row. We’ll be lucky to win 10 games. Started 0-7, and the futility will be fun to watch.

Looks like Jefferson Valley is off to an unsustainable start. Usually the Rebels hang around Gold for one to three weeks hovering around relegation until they take the trip to silver.

Coney Island is a mild disappointment. Last week Guidry was a culprit blowing 12 saves. I should part with him but part of what I realize is that besides my love a baseball, going back to my childhood with cards and dice-it was all about the stats. As you shed players your team has no real history. I have turned over a lot of my position players and the pitching has only seen wholesale changes. Nine of the twelve on the active roster have been around for 25 weeks plus. I like to look at the compiled lifetime stats.

If I play PT in the next version I think I am going to keep an Excel sheet. Also thinking of capping how many seasons a player can play (cannot exceed actual # of seasons played IRL) so stats are more reflective of a "real" career and it would be a different challenge as far as PP management.
