I believe this is Joe McIntosh. He had a two year stint with the Friars in '74-75 and after being traded, ended up in the Houston system later that decade.

Saw a recent post elsewhere that included this shot of Tony Muser as a Red Sox rookie circa 1970, but I do not have it checklisted on my Vault master lilst. While I am always making corrections, I am at a loss where this appeared.
Anyone have the Vault number so I can make a correction?

This appears to be Catcher - George Mitterwald and Pitcher - Craig Mitchell who saw sporadic action across 3 seasons for the mid 70's Athletics.

It's not Sasser. For 2 reasons. That sleeve patch is from '86 (and the image is regular season) and Sasser wasn't with the team in '86. Also, Sasser wore #2 and the batter, here, has a double digit uni number.

My best guess is Ray Knight. It isn't Magadan, nor HoJo, nor Danny Heep, and it sure isn't Stan Jefferson. That leaves Corcoran and Knight and--lefty/righty--I gotta say Knight.

When I saw Stephenson's pic, i thought at first it was a unknown Tiger; the piping had me fooled. I had forgotten that the Mets road unis back then had the same piping pattern and the fading of the negative threw me off a bit.

FOUND IT. Looking at other "MU" players, found the elusive image all the way back in Folder CA! CA 126-128 is Tony Muser, not Joe LaHoud, who it was ID'd many months ago.
