The Tortugas continue their push towards silver.

On a side note, the White Stallions discovered that five HR's in an inning will net 9,000PP.

The battle in OL B292 is for second, as Daytona Beach is cruising to a title. Also watching to see if OL has a record number of teams relegated.

South Side Clings to Small Lead in OL S273

The Gooeys may not be running away with the crown, but they still hold off their chasers, with Norwood, El Dorado, and Illawarra biting at their heels.

Daytona Beach's road to the title goes through Shangri-La. The bulk of the remaining OL schedule for the Tortugas is against the Dragons, over whom they hold a 7-3 advantage this season.

The Tortugas, Death Valley, and Transylvania remain as the only possible OL playoff participants, while Vlora, Shangri-La, Iron Maiden and Asheboro are in danger of relegation.

(I will be unable to post tomorrow. Will recap the season on Sunday.)

With an 8-2 month, the Gooeys put a little distance between themselves and El Dorado, with Norwood a close third.

Please Vote for Founders Cup

Below are all the teams that have won at least 1,000 games in OL for PT 21. Also included is Kansas, which has the highest win percentage. The cup will be awarded at the conclusion of our 50th season next week. I myself will be packing it in after that. Thanks for the great ride folks!

Weston Pointe Caspers - 1301-971 .573, 6 crowns
Port Ruppert Mundys - 1192-1224 .493, 8 crowns
Hooterville Haymakers - 1131-1079 .512, 6 crowns
Waffletown Syrups - 1114-951 .539, 4 crowns
Krikkitt War Robots - 1108-1100 .502, 8 crowns
Cary Southpaws - 1099-795 .580, 11 crowns
Hartford Whalers - 1035-1058 .495, 4 crowns
Kansas Rangers - 802-533 .601, 11 crowns

Diamond league:

Norwood reigns in the Puppies and takes the lead heading into the stretch run. (edit: looks like Norwood is done in OL play, while Palolo had 10 games remaining, so their fate is in their own hands)

Diamond league:

Norwood claims the Diamond tier crown as Palolo stumbles in September with a 5-5 mark.

Overall, three OL teams in the playoffs with Norwood and Palolo snagging division crowns, and Laramie picking up a wild card.

relegations to Gold: Kansas Rangers

and for the "celebrate the little victories" category, for the first time in v21, Waffletown finished over .500 at the Diamond tier (82-80) and did not get relegated after one season

tough call... got a number of deserving teams this run.... took wins, pct, and crowns and ranked them from top to bottom, then added those rankings together for a total ranking number (bunch of ties in the crowns field, so that went Kansas/Cary=1; Krikkit/Port Ruppert=3; etc)... ended up with:

Cary Southpaws - 8
Weston Pointe Caspers - 9
Kansas Rangers - 10
Port Ruppert Mundys - 13
Hooterville Haymakers - 13
Krikkit War Robots - 15
Waffletown Syrups - 15
Hartford Whalers - 21

so my vote goes to the Southpaws
