That is a good point and I considered that, but it seems to happen every time I try it. If it only occasionally happened, this would be an acceptable explanation.

I probably won't have time until this weekend, but I'll do a bunch of tests and see what evidence I can gather.

I have a question that has no one has bothered to ask, What is your trade difficulty set at? If it''s the default "average" the AI is smarter

Perhaps OOTP could prevent teams (AI and human) from trading players claimed off of waivers for a certain amount of time? Not something that happens in MLB, but for competitive purposes, this could be a solution.
