Minor league affiliates for the Great Plains Bisons. That is all for now, at least for things related to the aforementioned organization. The next team to be covered here will be the Minnesota Nocturnauts, in the next several posts, folks. I have made several uniforms and/or caps for them, but logos are still needed for them at some point, and someone may need to make them for me later, it seems. Hope a good number of you check out this thread periodically, of course.
There are quite a few teams yet to cover here, but once they're all covered, I'll progress the dynasty as soon as I can, and as best as I can. Until the next post, then, I'll close this. CD out.

Why do you take so long to play your dynasty league? You spend all your time on the lengthy back stories and the league setup and never cover the league giving regular reports, league standings, playoff coverage. You also spend too much time trying to get custom logos, jerseys and caps made... and no one ever does them for you... you are going to have to use graphics and teams that have already been created, if you want good graphics for your dynasty leagues. I don't follow your dynasties because you never really play them out and cover them in your dynasty thread. Views will tell you if anyone is interested in your dynasty leagues. Since you get very few people reading your dynasty threads, this could be the reason... you give them no regular coverage of the actual league standings and statistics... all you do is ramble on about the coaches and their family histories and the need for custom logos. Readers love well-written story lines about the dynasty leagues... the most popular dynasty reports are the ones that focus on one team, one player or one GM with a well-written story with pathos and humor. But the readers also want you to cover the baseball teams and give standings and stats to a certain degree. Good graphics and a well-done presentation are a big plus to a dynasty league... my favorite dynasty leagues are the ones with great logos, jerseys and have a creative presentation like an old-time newspaper or well-done website design like the Metro League by DreamTeams… and the dynasty thread United Leagues of Braeland by reds1. Please forgive me should l leave out a well-done dynasty... I can't cover them all. CD, check out these dynasties writers and see how to design an interesting dynasty league. (not in any order... just a quickly-prepared list) reds1 NYY #23 Westheim DreamTeams Orsin Illeracula Izz GForce Tiger Fan Abell The Game Nick Soulis and my all-time personal favorite dynasty league - Laseron Baseball Association - created by Portlander, DarkHorse and others long ago... it had fantastic graphics from a fictional world, maps, full uniforms, home and away... story lines galore... I think each owner in the league would post stories about their teams... the website looked like an old-time newspaper... the Laseron Baseball Association was really something. CD, you might do a search for Yoda, who used to do a yearly report on the best dynasties... Yoda would rate them each year.... some great stuff.... I miss Yoda. Steal some elements and devices from each one of the these and put them in your own dynasty and you will have the greatest dynasty of all time. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-24-2020 at 07:47 PM. |

When I get to Missouri, and the profile for its human manager named after one of my ancestors, I will fictionalize certain personal details and/or events, et cetera, as I feel the need to do so, of course. Or any related to any or all of his relatives and/or associates, et cetera, seeing as this dynasty will be happening in a different timeline than our actual real-world timeline.
However, in actual reality, as I've said before, if I remember correctly, he died when my father was still very young, in 1948. Whether he continues to run the Show-Mes after the time of his actual death in our real-world timeline, I haven't decided yet. But I'll decide that later, as needed, obviously. As far as things I know well enough about him, there probably aren't many I know about. And his wife, my grandmother, has been gone now for over 16 years, so I can't obviously ask her about him any longer, folks. Dad's stepfather will not be part of this dynasty's timeline, as well. Any persons in this dynasty with names of real people from my life will have certain details about them changed, for certain obvious reasons, where and when possible, necessary, appropriate, and desired, for sure. While I may use real persons' names, of course, unless otherwise stated, they will be at least a bit different in at least one way from the real person I knew/know in my life, because of the differences between this dynasty's timeline and our real-world one. Thank you for your time and attention, and all, folks. I hope to see a lot of good comments from you all in the future, as this thread develops here, of course. CD out.

I will most likely cover the human-run teams much more more in-depth than the AI-run teams. But right now, I'm just trying to show the overall current circumstances of the dynasty, EC, before I continue, so that people can ultimately decide which teams they might want to learn more about. You probably did the same when you started out with the IPA and other dynasties of yours, did you not?
I have been periodically checking out your dynasties and at least one or two of the threads from a number of the people you listed above. Even a few related to the FABL, for example, I have been, or at least I did before beginning work on my current story. And these introductory posts are also perhaps helping me figure out more details related to that latest story of mine. I think we'll find out more about the group mentioned in the post about Wade Haynes and Tokujiro Segal both in this thread and the story I just mentioned. I might even use some of the information from this thread in that story, in fact. I think there may even be some cross-pollination, in at least one way, if not more than one way, between at least one of my dynasty-related threads and that story of mine, every so often, as well. But we'll have to see, of course, EC. Thank you for your input, and friendship, and all, as always, for sure. Interesting goings-on with the IPA's recent post-season. Keep up the interesting storytelling and all, I hope. Until next post, then, I'll close this. CD out.

Furthermore, EC, this will only be the second overall season for the dynasty in question. And the first season for the teams and leagues in the British Isles, at that. So I have to have these posts to help get others up to speed better, I think, with the dynasty. I hope it won't be too much longer, time-wise, before I can advance the calendar forwards and simulate many of the games for the dynasty in 1947. But we'll have to see what happens in the future, of course, you know.
And a number of these people will likely be important people in the history of this dynasty, of course, as it develops. Who will be the first Hall of Famers in the various leagues is yet to be seen, but by 1950 or so, I'll probably be bringing in certain other leagues, including a version of MLB, for instance, at some point. Just a few things I have in mind later for this dynasty's development, if and when it is possible, et cetera, Lord willing, of course. Also, I have plans to change the strategy and/or financial settings every year as possible and all, hopefully with the four-man rotation generally in use whenever possible, for example, at least. Until the next post, then, I'll close this. CD out.

As far as putting myself into any dynasties, in any way, that will have to wait until sometime near my actual birth, at the earliest, and probably not before the 1990's, in any case. The version of me from this dynasty's timeline is yet to be created and/or developed, of course, but in any case, we'll have to advance at least another quarter-century or so before I'm even mentioned at all, as a person of possible interest later on. Even as an alternate version of myself, that is.
In this timeline, an alternate version of my Dad will exist, as will alternate versions of certain other people I know of, or knew, I'm sure. Other than that, we'll have to see what happens, and who might be showing up around the dynasty's world easily enough, of course. There will definitely be some difficult situations for a number of people mentioned in this dynasty, and don't doubt that. But who will be hit most by it, we'll all just have to see, of course. Remember, we're still early in this dynasty's history, so a lot of it is still unknown. Until next time, I'll close this. CD out.

Here's how the leagues stack up currently in the dynasty:
Major Leagues: American Baseball Refuge Society (plus three minor leagues) Japanese Baseball League (plus one minor league, will become *** by 1951, but probably 1950) Independent Leagues: English National Baseball League Irish Pro Baseball League Scottish Baseball Federation Welsh Baseball Association Future Leagues most likely to be created in next five seasons (Types TBD at present time): Major League Baseball North American Baseball Association Canacolu League United States Baseball League Canadian Baseball League Mexican Baseball League (LMB) American Association American Baseball Federation Slaabovian Republic League (possibly with at least one minor league) Liberty League Gamestar League Possible League somewhere down the line (Probably not before 1960 or so, at the earliest): Dreamfields Pro Baseball Association Other countries/regions perhaps more likely to get leagues at some point (Timing unknown at present): France Spain Korea Ruifrapso Sokumi (Fictional nation) Yunibaasaru Kataribe (Fictional nation) Oglalaland (Fictional nation) Rasoliun (Fictional nation) Israel Ethardius (Fictional nation) Italy Cadina (Fictional nation) Middle East Other nations/regions to be determined later, whether real or fictional This is a post-WWII dynasty, so depending on how things develop, we'll have to see which other countries or regions ultimately warrant leagues and/or teams, of course. A lot will depend on where the people in the dynasty ultimately come from, obviously. If the game creates more players/personnel from certain countries, then perhaps we'll see more leagues and/or teams from those countries, in due time, I'm sure. I'm hoping to see a wide variety of leagues spread out all over the world by 1970, at the latest, but we'll all just have to see how things develop for this dynasty, Lord willing. Eventually, some leagues may become major leagues, if they're not already major leagues when they're ultimately created. Other leagues may fold as well, of course, as time passes, but that still remains to be seen here, obviously. Until the next post, then, I'll close this. CD out.

As far as publicly requesting new items from various people on the forums, I've pretty much avoided doing that for several weeks, if not at least a month or longer, as you probably should know by now, if you check my recent post history, EC. And I plan to keep things that way at least until I finish chapter nine or ten of my current story, as best as I can and all. I'm currently stuck on it, and while I'm trying to work on it more, I'm also doing other stuff, to hopefully help me get past the writer's block I'm having on its front. Hence the recent introductory posts in this thread, for example.
My narrator in my current story is a big baseball fan, and he may even be related in some way to at least one of the human managers in this dynasty. I've not yet decided that for sure, but I think it may be quite possible, at some point, just so you know. He may even be a fan of any number of these teams, or others yet to be seen, in this dynasty, come to think of it. Will write more later, I'm sure. CD out.

In fact, if you're interested, I'll even work with you on the profiles related to the main personnel for the New Orleans Bayous, EC. While I will provide the pictures related to them, at least in part, perhaps you and I, and maybe even StLee as well, could somehow come up with believable enough profiles for a number of those people. Are you interested? If so, please let me know. CD out.

Before I get to introducing the Minnesota Nocturnauts here in this thread, I'll digress a little and note other sports-related matters, primarily related to the other three major North American sports of football, basketball, and hockey. While Major League Baseball does not yet exist as of February 1947 in this dynasty's timeline, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association do, and the National Hockey League do, at least.
Several of the owners already mentioned, or which will be mentioned, in this thread will also own at least parts, if not all, of certain franchises in the NFL, NBA, and/or NHL. Where that is the case, I will note that as necessary and appropriate and all, of course. At the present time, there are 20 teams in the NFL, 10 in the NBA, and 10 in the NHL as follows: National Football League: National Football Conference: Eastern Division: Chicago Bears Detroit Lions New York Giants Philadelphia Eagles Washington Redskins Western Conference: Green Bay Packers Los Angeles Rams Minnesota Vikings St. Louis Cardinals San Francisco 49'ers American Football Conference: Eastern Division: Baltimore Colts Boston Patriots Cleveland Browns New York Jets Pittsburgh Steelers Western Division: Denver Broncos Houston Oilers Kansas City Chiefs Oakland Raiders San Diego Chargers The current NFL Champion as of February 3, 1947 is the Green Bay Packers, after having defeated first the Bears in the NFC championship game, and then the Pittsburgh Steelers, who defeated the Oakland Raiders in the AFC championship, in the NFL Championship Game. The Super Bowl will not exist until after the United States Football League is eventually formed, probably sometime within the next 20 to 25 years, at most. The AAFC never exists, or at least not as of yet, in this world's timeline, in terms of rival professional football leagues. Other pro football leagues will exist, and have teams with more familiar names for them. Which leagues and which teams those are, you will have to wait and see what the future holds here, of course. As for the National Basketball Association, its current configuration is as follows: Eastern Conference: Baltimore Bullets (Will eventually move to Washington and remain as the Bullets forever in this timeline) Boston Celtics New York Knicks (AKA Knickerbockers) Philadelphia Warriors (Will eventually move to the Bay Area and be known as the Golden State Warriors decades later) Syracuse Nationals (Will eventually move to Philadelphia and become the Philadelphia 76'ers) Western Conference: Chicago Bulls Cincinnati Royals (Will eventually move to Kansas City and become the Kansas City Kings, where they will then stay forever in this timeline, most likely, as such) Detroit Pistons Minnesota Lakers (Will remain in Minnesota forever as the Lakers in this timeline) St. Louis Eagles (Will never move or change their name in this timeline) The 1946-47 season is currently in progress, but the most recent champion is the Baltimore Bullets after having defeated the Detroit Pistons in six games in the most recent NBA Finals. Other basketball leagues will later appear, as well. Which ones, and with what teams, will be revealed later, as possible and all. As for the National Hockey League, it currently has ten teams in two conferences as follows: Eastern Conference: Boston Bruins Montreal Canadiens New York Rangers Ottawa Senators Quebec Nordiques Western Conference: Chicago Blackhawks Detroit Red Wings Minnesota North Stars St. Louis Blues Toronto Maple Leafs The 1946-47 season is currently in progress, with the most recent champion being the Montreal Canadiens, after having defeated the Detroit Red Wings in five games for the most recent Stanley Cup Finals after the 1945-46 regular season. Other hockey leagues will appear later, as this dynasty's world's timeline develops and warrants and all. I do not yet know if I will simulate any seasons for the NHL and/or other leagues with the assistance of any of my FHM games, but we'll see if I do. We will begin to have World Series results only after Major League Baseball is formed, but until it is, we will primarily focus on the existing leagues, and the people involved in them, where and when possible and appropriate and all, of course, folks. I am not quite sure yet how to set up Major League Baseball, in terms of THIS dynasty, but hopefully I'll have a much better idea by the time we finish the current calendar year here. Please stay tuned. Thank you. That is all for now, I think. CD out.

Don't you mean borrow ideas from or be inspired by other people's dynasties and all, while also giving due credit and all where and when possible and all, EC? You know what the Bible says about stealing, don't you, generally speaking, at least? However, in a sporting context, there are times when stealing may be okay, in certain ways. But otherwise, theft is not good, you know, according to our Lord's Word, for sure.
Just a couple of thoughts here, that's all. Take them as you will, or not, of course. CD out.

It was just a "slang" way to tell you how to get new ideas that would definitely make your dynasties better in content... all dynasties have similar elements and features... it is not illegal to use some of those elements in your dynasty... they will just make your dynasty better and more interesting. I just meant for you to look at the good dynasties and use them as a model or design for your dynasty... take the good elements or good features that the good dynasty writers use and use them in your dynasty. Well, Eugene, I do often take things literally, not figuratively, when I should probably do the latter, to be completely honest with you here. And I think I've generally been that way my whole life, even before I knew I had Asperger's Syndrome. That probably hasn't helped my writing at times, of course, but it is what it is, nevertheless, at least up to this point in time for my life.
I'm also getting some things down in some form, online, at least, just in case I ever have computer problems again, and/or lose access to a certain amount of my notes and all about various things, or other printed material, for example. That's so that if I know where to look and all, I can just go back to the necessary places, if possible, and recover that information at some later time, hopefully. I do enjoy reading many things by people, and seeing interesting new graphics, et cetera, often, to be sure. And The Game has a pretty good dynasty going, for example, as well. He's not the only good dynasty writer here, though, you know. Here's hoping I can eventually get that latest story completed at least in first-draft state by this time next year at the latest, Lord willing. But I've still got a lot of the story to plan out and even write, to be honest, at the present time. Maybe I'll even be able to involve a number of people related to this dynasty in its progress, somehow, at that, at least, Eugene. Thanks for your input and all, as always. And may the God of all Creation continue to bless you with longer life and good health, et cetera, as He wills and all, and not just you, but anyone else around you as well, I hope. CD out.

Now to start on introducing major personnel for the Minnesota Nocturnauts, based out of Duluth, Minnesota. We will first get to know at least a bit about Garrett "Leaping Lion" Salvador, a native of Rocky River, Ohio, and how he ended up with controlling interest in the Nocturnauts baseball franchise for the American Baseball Refuge Society, ultimately. Then we will meet the other major personnel for them as quickly and as well as possible, of course. Without further ado, let's get to know Garrett Salvador, folks. In fact, he may or may not be somehow connected with certain people in my latest story, but we'll all have to see if that is the case later, obviously.
Garrett Salvador was born on February 29, 1892 in Rocky River, Ohio, to Shiloh Paul and the former Mopsa Edisse Flute, as the oldest of six children to his parents, with three of each gender. Not only that, his father had also been born on a Leap Day, and both of his younger brothers were born on Leap Days. His nearer one four years to the day after his own birth, and then the other one in 1904. As for his mother, and all three of his younger sisters, their birthdays all fall on the calendar date of August 30, with his nearest sister being born on August 30, 1894, and the next one on August 30, 1898, and the youngest on August 30, 1902. His father was born in February 1868, and his mother in August 1870, so when he was born, they were roughly 24 and 21 years old, respectively. And this tendency for males in his family to be born on Leap Days had been a trait common on his father's side since at least 1804, as far as he has been able to learn so far in his own life. Daughters of his direct male ancestors were and are also strangely often born on August 30 in the same intervals, if not always, for reasons many are still puzzled about in his life and the lives of certain others connected in some way to his family, even if not by blood ties, or ties of marriage, for example. Garrett and his wife, the former Japhia Goulston, now have nine children, with three as part of a set of triplets, and two as a set of twins, born in 1920, 1922, 1924, 1926, 1928, and 1930, with the triplets being born in 1924, and the twins in 1926, according to the same established familial tendencies on the direct male-side line. While Japhia actually has a birthday in November 1897, her daughters all were born in August. In years where the Leapers in the family don't have an official birthday present, their celebrations occur on March 1, as is often common for families with Leapers in them. Garrett won't have an official birthday this year, but he will celebrate getting another year older on that date, just the same. Garrett spent much of his childhood living near Cleveland, until his family found themselves moving first to Wisconsin, then Minnesota, by the time 1906 rolled around for it. Ultimately, the family found themselves settling in Minnesota, near Duluth, in the little town of Wrenshall, and Garrett eventually was graduated from Wrenshall High School in 1910. He went to college at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, ultimately graduating in 1914 with a B.A. in English and Spanish, minoring also in theological studies and business administration. It wasn't much later, after his graduation, he met Japhia while she was teaching students in St. Peter, and the two ultimately married in 1916 on his next official birthday. A couple of years later, they moved up to Duluth, and started a family with each other. They still reside in Duluth, but not close to downtown, preferring to live closer to the outskirts of Duluth than to downtown, so as to have more of a rural setting than an urban one for their children to grow up in, if at all possible. Garrett was big on sports growing up, but ultimately, he couldn't compete easily with many other players and/or teams he competed against up through the end of college at GAC. He played occasionally after college in a summer recreation league, even after his first five children were born. But eventually, the aging process and usual quality of play in that league, along with having more children born to him and Japhia, among other things, ultimately forced him to end his active playing career by the time he was in his middle thirties, at the latest. He now spends much of his time when not conducting certain important business related to the Nocturnauts and a few other Minnesota-based professional sports teams he partially owns doing a lot of reading of many books and newspapers, or enjoying the outdoors as much as he can. He also has stock in multiple companies all over the world, and earns a good deal of money from stock market activities, and other investments. He gives a good deal of his income away to worthy causes, as the mood strikes him and circumstances permit him to do so. He's been well-known for going into the woods on camping trips, and even spending time on many lakes and/or other bodies of water in and around Duluth and eastern Minnesota, as well. He's not much for hunting, but give him fishing or camping or painting-related equipment, and he'll often be quite glad to be able to use it. He's even been able to paint dozens of paintings mostly of wildlife and/or landscapes he's seen in his life, and has even sold numerous printed copies of said paintings to many people all over the world, at that. He is also quite active in church-related activities, but mostly behind the scenes, so as not to draw undue amounts of attention to himself needlessly. When he went to Gustavus Adolphus College, he met two young men from the Dominican Republic you will learn about here in short order. One of them born the day after he was, and one born exactly one month earlier than the other. In fact, both those men from the Dominican Republic were born in the exact same town or city as each other. They met the first day of college, and were soon seen hanging out with each other quite often whenever they weren't in class. Most often, they met each other at the school's chapel, and then spent many hours together, whenever they could, off the baseball field or outside of class. One of them ultimately made it possible for Garrett to meet Japhia, and after that happened, all three men eventually found themselves deeply in love with suitable women for themselves, mostly to their great surprise in their respective lives. Of the three resulting couples, Garrett and Japhia were the first to marry, for the three relevant couples, followed about sixteen years later by both of the other two couples. Not much later, they each bought stakes in certain professional sports teams, and/or various companies, and began raising their respective families. Garrett and Japhia now own 80 percent of the total stock in the Minnesota Nocturnauts, 10 percent of the stock in the Minnesota Vikings, and 10 percent of the stock in the Minnesota Lakers, between them both. But nothing in terms of stock for the Minnesota North Stars, as of yet, if they ever will own any of it in the future, somehow. Garrett hopes that at least one of his children decides to pursue a career in professional sports, but at the present time, none of them seem too interested in that sort of thing. Not even his youngest son who's now almost nineteen years old here, in truth. I'll have to try to get you at least one picture of him, if not more than one, as soon as possible, and as often as possible, I think, folks. It may still be at least a little while longer before I can do that, though, just the same. Until the next post, then, in which I'll probably try to introduce you as best as I can to Tyler Grace, the Minnesota Nocturnauts' current General Manager, I"ll close this here. Hope you decide to check out this thread here periodically, of course, everyone. CD out.

Now let's get to introducing you all to Tyler Grace, the current General Manager of the Minnesota Nocturnauts. I'll try to keep this as brief as I can, of course, but it may be a little more in-depth than many of the other introductory posts that will follow later in the thread. As for a picture or pictures of him, you'll likely have to wait a little while longer, at least, I think, folks. With no further ado, then, let's start to get to know Tyler Grace here at least a little bit, if we can.
Tyler Grace was born on November 22, 1899 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Ellis Cody and the former Slaabovia-born Rifuplai Uditi Hallbrunn, as their first son and child of three. He has a younger sister named Nezzi and a younger brother named Ethan, born in 1902 and 1904, respectively. His mother, however, is only about one-eighth Slaabovian, as far as he knows currently, with the other roughly seven-eighths of her ancestry mostly coming from southern and eastern Asia, with some other ancestors from random other areas of the world. His father's ancestry mainly comes from northern and central Europe, but also includes occasional appearances of ancestors and other family members from central Africa, and rarely even diverse parts of South America. Tyler spent about the first five or so years of his life primarily living in the area between Baltimore, Washington and Annapolis, normally, while his father was serving in the Navy for several years both before and after his birth in Baltimore. However, after his father left the Navy, he found himself moving with his immediate family to Minnesota, in very short order, when Ellis unexpectedly inherited some land and various other assets from his own grandfather, even though Tyler really wanted to stay in Maryland at the time. Much to Tyler's surprise, he found himself eventually adjusting to life in Minnesota better than he'd originally thought he would, and spent most of the rest of his childhood and adolescence living mainly in central Minnesota near Long Prairie, Brainerd, and other nearby towns and cities, with a few brief relocations for his father's work to the Mankato or Duluth areas of Minnesota. Ultimately, though, he finished high school as a member of the St. Peter High School class of 1918, while he and his family were in the Mankato area because of his father's job with one of the local papers mainly as a sports columnist for them. It wasn't long before Tyler found himself in the Duluth area again, and attending college at the University of Minnesota's Duluth campus. While he was there, he first met not only his future wife, Relvirra Sagumu, but also Garrett Salvador and his wife Japhia. Garrett and Japhia were with Relvirra the first time Tyler met her, and several weeks after their meeting, Tyler realized that Relvirra was the one for him. Although it took him a while longer to win her heart, and considerable effort, Relvirra eventually accepted his proposal of marriage. Tyler married Relvirra in 1921, and after a few years of spending time in various other countries in the world, they ultimately decided to live near Hinckley, Minnesota, as a married couple, with Tyler often traveling on certain business trips to various locations all over the Midwestern United States in connection with various family commercial assets, for example. He also would play occasionally in baseball games mainly between various people from several nearby church congregations, but not very well, often, in truth. When their children started coming in 1926, it wasn't long before Tyler had to stop playing baseball, especially after breaking a leg while sliding into a base, among other injuries that eventually caused his playing skills to decline too much for his tastes and all so that he could continue to play ball adequately enough in his life. By the time his second son Tuvuhant was born in January 1935, his active baseball playing career had essentially been over already for about two or three years, in truth. He began working in front office-type positions for several smaller semi-pro teams in the Duluth area, and stayed in frequent contact with Garrett Salvador, among others, for a good long time afterwards. By the time the United States finally entered World War II on the Allied side of things, Tyler and Relvirra already had five children, with the youngest only a few months old, at most. Seeing as he already had a family, he was not forced into military service as an active-duty member. Instead, he was allowed to continue working as he'd been doing at the time of America's entrance into World War II, for assorted sports teams, mostly ones based in or near Duluth, Minnesota. Of his five children, only his oldest of three sons, Kelton, is clearly interested, at least to a degree, in sports, but his other four children have not yet made up their minds if they might also want to do something sports-related in their lives for a living. He won't push, but he thinks Tuvuhant may be the best potential athlete in his family later on in his life, just the same. And hopes that both Kelton and Tuvuhant might decide to consider pursuing careers for them both in their lives very seriously very soon, as well. Tyler was one of the people who suggested to Garrett that he seek to own a baseball team at some point, although he was still only in college at the time. And ultimately, the opportunity came for Garrett and others to do so, when locations were chosen for the first teams that would be part of the American Baseball Refuge Society professional league, about a quarter-century later, more or less. They have often associated with each other since their first meeting, even if it's only through cards and/or letters at times, but most often, they've associated with each other in person. A good deal of trust exists between the Salvador and Grace families, and chances are quite good that will remain the case for them both for quite a long time in the future, as far as anyone can currently tell well enough. When not working, Tyler often spends a good deal of time with his family, although he now will not see Kelton as much as he used to any longer, for Kelton decided to go out West for college, somewhere near San Francisco, California. Just what school he's going to college at, he still hasn't told Tyler or Relvirra, for reasons not yet known to them. But eventually they will find out why, and when they do, it may not help the relationships between Kelton and/or his parents, at least, very much for a while, if not for a good long time. Tyler also spends a lot of time reading foreign-language novels, newspapers, attending to his various collections of stamps and other items, and reading and meditating in relation to many things and/or people in the Bible, and even the things and people he sees out in the real world, especially the wide variety of wildlife and plants out in it. His favorite Psalm in the Bible is Psalms 16, but he also likes many of the other Psalms and other parts of the Bible a great deal. That's enough information about him for at least a little while, I think, folks. Now I don't know if he or any of the people related to him or associated with him will appear in my latest story, just yet, but we'll have to see, of course. Next up on the list of major personnel for the Minnesota Nocturnauts will most likely be their current manager, Pat Taber. Please wait for it, and I'll try to have his profile posted here as soon as I can, for sure. Until next time, then, I'll close this here. CD out.

Now it's time to introduce you all to Pat Taber, the current manager for the Minnesota Nocturnauts' major league personnel. This profile may be a bit long for your tastes, but I want you to get to know at least a bit about him here, just the same, everyone. With no further ado, then, here's the current profile for him, and let's see how well we can envision him at the present time in his life, of course.
Pat Taber was born on June 24, 1909 in Belleview, Illinois to Spencer Kieran and the former Erlynzaxi Nushehn, the former a native of Jamaica and the latter a native of Yunibaasaru Kataribe, as their third son and fifth child. He has two older sisters named Janeka and Virishakua, and two older brothers Dordiro and Lionel. Janeka was already a teenager when he was born on the same day as Lionel, while Dordiro was 8, and Virishakua was almost 5. Lionel is twelve minutes older than Pat is, more or less. Pat's family remained living in the Belleview area until he was ten years old, before moving to south central Minnesota near Mankato, after which he eventually was graduated from St. Peter High School as a member of the Class of 1927. After high school, he then went to college in Missouri and Florida, first at the University of Missouri's Columbia campus, then at the University of Miami's Coral Gables campus, for a total of about nine years, before ultimately earning his Master of Arts degree from the University of Miami by 1936. While at Missouri, however, his playing career was ultimately cut short by persistent injuries and a a general inability to compete adequately enough against most of the teams and players he'd been competing against. But not entirely because of his tendency to get hurt more often than he'd been when he was younger, as well. Even when he was healthy enough in college, he generally couldn't compete adequately enough on the field, somehow. After his active playing career essentially ended in college, he decided to go into international business and the entertainment industry for a while. Hence his decision to go for his Master's degree at the University of Miami in Florida. It was while there he first met his future wife, the Ruifrapso Sokumi-born Ariel Naneki Sternberg. Within a year of them meeting in 1934, they were married in Washington, D.C in front of a few dozen people, in a church near the White House. A few years later, in 1938, they began having kids, starting with Jonathan, followed by other kids an average of about three years apart, more or less. Their next expected child is due in late March or early April, as far as they currently can recall what Ariel's doctors have most recently told her in relation to her current gestational period. Besides Jonathan, their other born children are Lucia and Kejithargo, born in August 1941 and June 1944, respectively. They now all live near Two Harbors, almost directly south of Ely, on a small farm, where they mainly raise cattle and/or assorted small birds, with a couple of horse, but have been been known to do some gardening as well. When Pat is not working or otherwise occupied in his life, he can often be found tinkering with mechanical or engineering-type things, working on various carpentry projects of all kinds, reading anything and everything he can legitimately get his hands on to read, or writing, directing, and producing various theatrical or cinematic offerings as best and as often as he can. But his work and family-type commitments do keep him fairly busy, for sure. So he doesn't always get to indulge in his hobbies as much as he might periodically want to, in any case. Or at least not to this point in time in it, anyway. This will be his second year as a member of the Minnesota Nocturnauts' major league staff, so he hopes that his team can build a winning tradition very soon, for multiple reasons, of course. He doesn't want to have to move his family for a good long time, for sure. Especially because he likes living in the Two Harbors area of Minnesota quite a bit now. If he can, he'd like to spend his entire coaching and/or managerial career working for teams in the upper Midwestern part of the United States, most definitely. But if he can't, then his primary home base will always be there, hopefully for the rest of his own mortal life. Picture(s) will be shown later, if possible, et cetera. Along with other necessary information and other things, as needed, et cetera, of course, folks. Don't know how soon, but probably sooner than later, once the regular season's begun here for the Nocturnauts, I believe. Okay, that takes care of Pat Taber's profile here. The next person's profile is already up here, so I'll next create a profile for Jose Alvarado as soon as I can, followed as quickly as possible for the rest of the people on the Nocturnauts' major league staff. Until then, I'll close this post here, everyone. CD out.

Now I think it's time I try to introduce you all to the Minnesota Nocturnauts' current bench coach, Rupert Lawman, who's only been part of the organization for two months now. I'll try to keep his profile here as brief as possible, but if it's still a bit long for your tastes, then so be it. With no further ado, then, let's try and get to know him at least a bit better. I don't know if he'll appear or be mentioned in my latest story, just yet, for sure, but we'll have to see if he is, later, I'm sure.
Rupert Lawman was born on September 23, 1906 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to Thomas Foster and the former Phoebe Windella Monson as their third son and fourth child. His father spent many years at sea serving the Royal Australian Navy until the end of World War I, after which he retired, and took their family to the Sydney area of New South Wales. From then on, Rupert lived near Sydney until he finished high school. When he finished high school, he went to the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He studied law and criminal justice while there, after which he eventually became a part-time cop for a few towns along the Australian East Coast between Brisbane and Sydney, when not playing baseball or doing other things in his life. It was while serving as a part-time cop that he met his future wife, Raquel Cavero, while she and several other people were all on an overseas business/tourism-related trip. They had come to spend some time in Australia, and he encountered them at a beachside restaurant on one of his days of duty. He had come there to help deal with a disturbance in the restaurant, and they had been caught up in that disturbance against their will. He helped end that disturbance, and eventually found himself attracted to Raquel. Within another two years of their first meeting, they were married in a four-couple wedding ceremony. He didn't know it yet, but he would eventually find himself working for the same baseball team as the other three grooms in the ceremony. Those other grooms being Jose Alvarado, Matt Wagoner, and Roger Cavero, two of which were from the Dominican Republic. That ceremony occurred in 1932 just a few months after the 1932 Summer Olympic Games of Los Angeles, California. Eventually, Rupert's active baseball-playing career came to an end, circa 1938, so he transitioned temporarily to full-time work as a police officer for most of the next five or so years between then and the end of World War II. After the war ended, he and his now five-person family found themselves living in the United States, after he'd been hired as an attorney for several clients, much to his surprise. One of those clients was Garrett Salvador, and soon after that happened, he also found himself hired by the Minnesota Nocturnauts as their second historical bench coach. He and his family of five (Rupert, Raquel, Genesis Evarenia, Caleb Patrick, and Hugo George) now live in Duluth, and they plan to remain there for at least the next year or two. This is the first baseball coaching job that he's been hired for, so he hopes to do a good job, if at all possible, as the Nocturnauts' current bench coach, of course When not working, or spending time with family or friends, Rupert often practices various martial arts techniques, shoots bows or firearms to keep his shooting skills sharp, or he spends time sailing, canoeing, boating, or fishing, whenever he can. His favorite reading material outside the Bible is classic novels, or novels from Australians. Picture(s) of him will be shared later, if possible, et cetera. I'll post up a profile below for Jose Alvarado as soon as I can, of course, folks. Until then, I'll close this here. CD out.

Here's the character profile for the Minnesota Nocturnauts' current pitching coach, Jose Alvarado. It may be longer than certain other profiles are already, or will be, in this thread, but hopefully it will help you get an idea of what he's like a bit better here, folks. With no further ado, then, let's start trying to get to know him at least a little bit better here, if we can.
Jose Alvarado was born on March 1, 1892 in Azua, Dominican Republic to Santiago and the former Celeste Zoido as their first son and child. He has six younger siblings, four of them sisters, and one of those sisters ultimately married one of his future co-workers. But while he and they were still young, they didn't yet know they'd eventually do so, of course. He and his family spent his whole childhood and adolescence living in and around Azua, and he only left the Dominican Republic for the first time when he came to the United States for college at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota in 1910. He played moderately well as a college pitcher, but not well enough to likely feel he was good enough for possible professional organized competition as such. So he decided to study as a potential future schoolteacher, so as to have something to fall back on for a living just in case he wasn't. Over the following years, he made some rather wise investments in various markets, among other things he did. Even after beginning to coach various baseball teams for a while in both the United States and the Dominican Republic. It was while he was coaching a team in California that he met his future wife, Daisy Blair, an actress from Georgia who used the stage name Joy Roads in her career, mainly for privacy reasons. One thing soon led to another, and the two of them ultimately fell in love with each other. By 1931, they were engaged, and they finally married each other as participants in a four-couple wedding ceremony. Their first two children were born in May 1934. More children came to them in 1937, 1939, and finally triplets in 1945, not long after the end of World War II and just before the formation of the Minnesota Nocturnauts baseball franchise as part of the American Baseball Refuge Society. They don't expect to have any more biological children, though. They now spend most of their time in Minnesota, but periodically do go back to the Dominican Republic whenever they can. They can't normally do it very often, for sure. But they've still been able to go back there a few times since their wedding in 1932. They live about halfway between Hinckley and Duluth in a town called Willow River with their children Leonardo, Isabel, Rogelio, Victor, Alberto, Renata, and Carlota. Leonardo and Isabel are already in ninth grade, having started kindergarten two years earlier than most children do in their lives under normal enough circumstances in them. But both of their other two school-aged children started at the usual ages for kindergarterners when the proper times came for each of them, in any case. At first, Jose and Daisy didn't want to have Leonardo and Isabel start school so soon. But they couldn't deny that their twins were too bored, for the most part, with staying at home so much at that time in their lives. So they ultimately let the twins start school two years earlier than normal for young children. Now Leonardo is already making plans that he hopes will lead to a career in the field of astronomy or spaceflight-related science, while Isabel is seriously starting to consider possible careers in medicine, law, or physics and/or chemistry later in life for a possible living. When Jose is not working either for the Nocturnauts or periodically doing part-time service as a substitute teacher, he either spends a lot of time with those close to him, taking a lot of pictures, or writing various things in English or Spanish, with most of his writing being along the traditional lines of Spanish-language poetry. And much of it is quite heavily influenced by many people and/or events he's quite familiar with form his time growing up in the Dominican Republic, for sure. Picture(s) will be shown later, if possible, et cetera. And more information and other things will be shared about him, as well, where and when possible and all, et cetera, of course, folks. Until next time, then, I'll close this. CD out.
