I honestly can't figure this one out. Not only would the Highlanders trade the MLB leader in home runs (granted, that only means nine), but they would throw in prospects, for a pitcher in AA at 31 years old.

Huh.

TRADE

To HIGHLANDERS

Martin Jennings

To SUPERBAS

Mike Donlin
Theodore Dean
Robert Hoskins
Rafael Bermudez (yes, he is back)
Tom Cantwell

The fans are happy about Donlin... as am I.

TRADE

To DOVES

Bob Jennings
Bob Gibson

To SUPERBAS

Jason Woodard
Sal Powell
Roy Ellam
Claudio Morales
Antonio Soto

Powell is placed on waivers.
Donlin joins the big league camp.
The rest are in the minor league camp.

King Cole had been a surprise in camp thus far, but he was seriously off his game today, giving up five runs and five walks in five innings as Brooklyn lost 6-1 to the Giants.

The Superba offence has not been great but nobody is worried since it is mostly depth questions that are being answered.

WP - Charley Hall (1-2)
LP - King Cole (1-2)

Spring Record - 9-14

Three-Finger Brown had a nice start and the Superbas cruised to a 6-1 win over the Pirates.
