The fight for the back-up roster spots was quite uninspired today. Brooklyn lost 5-3 to the Cardinals.

I honestly can't figure this one out. Not only would the Highlanders trade the MLB leader in home runs (granted, that only means nine), but they would throw in prospects, for a pitcher in AA at 31 years old.

The Superba offence has not been great but nobody is worried since it is mostly depth questions that are being answered.
