Why?

I just didnt personally like L'Heureux player profile and he wasnt my pick. Since his value was all time high i decided to shop him. Offer from Buffalo Sabres was really good and we had business with them last season also so that helped on trade. Rosen was drafted at #14 in 2021. L'Heureux was drafted at #27 in 2021. So i guess this is a nice upgrade. I think we got a better player.

(Edit: Rosen 1+1 in his first NHL game.)

Nashville Predators will move up in draft! I wanted to go for that Michkov pick. He has 3 years left on KHL contract so its pretty long time until he can play in NHL which lowers him value quite a bit, but i think this can potentially be a one of our most important moves when we look back after 10 years.

We are in a point where we can start to battle for playoffs again. Small move here, we needed some experience. We are not giving up anything special and we are getting back point per game player from last year. Also he can boost Wright and maybe teach him thing or two about winning games in NHL. A

Askarov is ready to play in NHL. He won goalie of the year last year in KHL.

Owner excepts playoffs spot. If our young players can step up to a new level we can go far in playoffs. I think we have a solid goaltending, one of the better defence in league and we have one of the best bottom 6 atm. Lets see how our top 6 can produce scoring.

Nashville Predators signs Severson RD 3 years $2,850,000 AAV deal. Little upgrade to our top 6. He can kill a penalties.

Our depth chart looks really good. We have so much talent in our system that its just to matter of time that we start winning. Our rebuild has ended.

Season 2023-24

I feel whole season went just like i dreamed. Everything worked and we had better luck with injuries. Even tho now when playoffs starts Ekholm is out 3-4 months and Pesce can play maybe in 2nd or 3rd round in playoffs. Our young guns really stepped up and ofcourse you cant forget Stamkos efforts. He did just what i hoped and raised Wright and Rosen to next level. Unfortunately it looks like this will be only a one season thing. Stamkos asked 6 years $6,600,000 AAV with NMC.

We allowed least goals in the league. Saros and Askarov played ok.

Save started to crash when we were 3-1 losing to St.Louis in playoffs 2nd round. On top of that there is MacKinnon not signed. Its over.
