It is many a child's dream to play for their hometown team, and Mike Tiernan has finally achieved that dream after signing a contract with the Villanova. At his press conference, one reporter asked how he felt about joining the National League Big East team. "It's a dream come true. "Now I finally have a chance to give back and help bring a championship to the team that I loved so much growing up. I'm really excited for this opportunity. His career numbers show Tiernan is currently carrying a .312 lifetime batting average with 280 home runs and 723 RBIs. |
