I often don't get to sleep until well after midnight where I am, folks. But it's probably less a case of insomnia than the case that I often find it easier to do things later on in the day, or even at tall hours of the night or short hours of the morning, because I've probably been a night owl of sorts most of my life, I think, ever since leaving high school, at least.
Usually, I probably create best after 5 pm my time, and that has probably been true here for me, for quite some time in my life. For many years, I used to watch Jeopardy! every day, or nearly every day, whenever I could. But after Alex's death, I haven't watched more than a few whole episodes with basically just one other host, and certainly not any of the other ones with the varying hosts, for various reasons. Watching that show gave me a lot of creative ideas, for sure, at times, when I was watching it. I know the show was not primarily centered on Alex, of course, but mainly on the many contestants participating in the various episodes, yet after Alex left us all, something was lost, and I couldn't still continue my own watching of the show personally, for various reasons. One day, I'm sure I'll be posting more new graphics on these forums, Lord willing, but that day hasn't actually come yet, if it ever will. A lot of things are happening for me and for mine, or will be happening, no doubt, in the very near future. Rest assured, though, if and when I can create more items suitable enough for posting on these forums, Lord willing, I will then post each of them here just as soon as I can and all. Thank you all for your time and attention here, then, and please continue to keep up the great work here, HK. I like the Manhattan work here a lot, too, and I might just borrow the logos in question for a team in one of my leagues, as well. Especially since it doesn't have a date on it and more specific location-related branding than most of your other work in this thread, for sure. CD out.

Thanks, I thought it had some 20_range vibes when I was creating it

Oh, HK, you might want to correct the current spelling on the first logo for the Manhattan Haberdashers here. I suppose you actually meant to have it say The Garment District on it instead of The Garmet District, but accidentally mistyped there somehow. Am I right? Just wondering, that's all. The logo still looks really good, otherwise, for sure. CD out.

I found this little bit of clip art and was compelled to use it.

Thank you! Yeah, I got excited about this one! I'm from Orlando so this one celebrates some of the non-Disney elements of the city. Before all the theme park stuff Orlando was known for our links to the Space Coast and NASA (UCF is a space grant school, Lockheed Martin is here among a lot of other employers with links to the space program). We also had a very popular winter horse racing site. It was harness racing but still, kinda worked.

The O's with the rocket jockey are really creative... you really have a talent for design.
I'm going to create my ultimate and final OOTP Dynasty League... eventually it will replace my Islandian Pro Alliance and South Island Leagues... my plans are to play 100 seasons in the IPA and then retire it... I have 21 seasons more to go... I will use txranger, knuckler, low and Lawn Loaf logos and jerseys for most the league teams. Kevin, I'm going to go back through all of your teams and find some that will be in the running for my last league... your work has a special feel to it... they are out of the ordinary... they are extraordinary... they are unique. |

Both groups of those logos look fantastic, I like these ones a bit more because of the colors that you used in these ones.

I tend to agree, I think the pink and blue; while totally old Florida colors, have a strong association with Miami these days. The orange, yellow, and black kind of feel more Central Florida. Probably should have done green and orange since that's the typical Orlando color set due to citrus. The first ones are fun though, I don't tend to use those colors much so it was a nice challenge. Thanks!

EC. I think you might create more than one more league in the future, if God gives you the chance to do so, and the desire, somehow. But I'm not quite sure when the last-ever version of either OOTP or FHM might come out, of course, just yet. I have a feeling, though, that we all might not see it continue until at least OOTP 31 or so, at the moment.
But even if the OOTPD game franchises or company don't last at least that long here, for some reason or reasons not yet known to any or all of us, the versions we have been able to have should last us for a good while yet, I think, somehow, if they're still sufficiently functional in the years to come. I do hope OOTPD will last for a good while longer yet, but somehow I suspect that with the way things are now, or soon likely will be, it and many other game franchises, will not last for many more years, somehow, in this world. In any case, though, as long as I can, I will closely continue to follow various modders and/or various dynasties here, I'm quite sure, including you and jg2977, for instance, for sure. I have enjoyed your reports and graphics here, EC, quite a bit in the past, and I'm not the only one to do so around here, either, for that matter, no doubt. CD out.

Sequim (WA) Pirates
A bunch of versions of this one in the drive. The "S" image is an example of my continuing attempt to capture that classic 1920s to 1940s high school letter style that you'd find in yearbooks or school newspapers. Not quite there yet but kinda fun to learn.

Feeling a little simple 2 color style this afternoon. A lot of different looks in the drive.

Edinburgh Highlanders
Made this set for a British Isles Hockey League I'm creating but its not really sport specific so I figured I'd toss it up here. (And yes those happen to be New York Islander colors because I thought the Highlanders should have Islander colors for some reason)

Another hockey one that I think could be used for any sport.
So Manchester (UK or you know New Hampshire or according to the interwebs any other of the 29 cities in the US called Manchester) Manchester Knaves As much fun as I have trying to stretch my skills and learn new techniques I still love the simplicity of the circle badge that we all know from the beautiful creations of TXranger and Knuckler. I started learning how to design badges and use design programs (First GIMP and Inkscape but now mostly Adobe Illustrator) by sitting with the stuff they created and trying to figure out how they did it. Just deconstructing each element and line over and over again. I learned so many techniques and moves and had so many eureka! moments trying to recreate the badges they created. I'll hope they understand that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I've tried to create my own style that isn't too derivative of what they do.

Reworked the circle badge, the foxes face overlap with the text was bugging me a bit. Figured I'd add the rest of the set.
