So in a move that is pretty typical for me and my beloved ADHD I started a new project to create some generic logos that people could use for lower leagues and such. That being said, I just got a new job and I'm patiently awaiting the release of Franchise Hockey Manager 10 and creating some new things for a league I want to set up there. Sooo that's all to say, I don't know if I'll keep working on these but I probably will when the time is right. I'll probably still do the normal ones as well. Anyway here are a few...

I like the pennant idea more than the flags you've been working on -- I'll adjust my mimicry attempt accordingly

It's all one big experiment isn't it? I started with banners then tried flags and now I'm back to banners?

When I first tried out the envelope distort I didn't realize a little goes a long way. I don't think I ever go above 25% maybe 30 sometimes, unless its like this which I think was 35% but I was going for a pretty big flapping in the wind effect. I've not been on Inkscape in awhile but I assume lattice is like the "intertwine" function? Also super fun!

When I was making this I felt a little 20_range inspiration, you're really good at creating a scene within a circle like this.

Feeling a little retro tonight.

I sampled the colors out of a classic comics color guide and I used one of the Phantom Paper textures from RetroSupply. I'm trying to capture that old print look from the old printed game-day programs printed on colored paper.

I often intend to make the Angels logo (a fancy letter with a single name element, no baseball references), but end up making the Mets logo (a whole circular scene with multiple specific references, plus a bat or some seams or something). Here, you've done both
