New Fictional Logos

Well I've been trying to make more generic logos simply because I try to use some of them for FHM and OOTP (along with Football Manager and some other random games I don't mod as much but might want to one day). That said, I'd built that really cool flower growing through the "S" and had a really awkward gap at the top that was just screaming for something and so this one got a baseball reference (as well as other versions for different sports).

From this morning's practice session...


Bend (OR)

This started out as a hockey team but I adapted a few for baseball. The original has one lumberjack holding an axe and one holding a hockey stick. When I switched the hockey stick for a baseball bat they looked a bit more like two guys about to fight each other to the death... so the two axes it is. Looks a bit more reverent.

Excellent work on the Bend team... love the way you put the lumberjacks' backs to the trees on the first logo.

Thanks EC! I wish the baseball bat version looked right. It just looked more like a group of thugs and less like a baseball player. On second glance I'm not even sure the hockey stick version works that well. Its a neat concept that maybe I don't quite have the skills to pull off.



I think the two lumberjacks works best, so I'm glad I kept that version.

I can't figure out if I love the atom running around the E and the wordmark or its an absolute mess... I made a second wordmark just in case I decided it was a mess later on.

Incidentally, if any other creators want to get in touch; I received a special digital "Black Friday" gift from RetroSupply and it is all things I already have. If anyone wants to check them out I'd love to pass them along. Its a mix of Photoshop, Illustrator, and I think some Affinity brushes some fonts, and some other cool things. Sometimes those sorts of things work on GIMP or Inkscape but that can depend I think.
