Should be a fun build with them in a tough NL East.

They have some young future star stud players in Wood and Crews to build around along with Abrams. They just need a lot of pitching help.

A couple of questions for this Windows user.

1. After download and extraction, is the .lg file copied and pasted into This PC/ Documents/ Out of the Park Developments/ OOTP Baseball 2024/ saved_games? (This is how I have in the past placed created league files followed by loading saved game to play).

2, I use a different extractor than WinZip which works for me most of the time. What is the exact name of the extracted league file to be later copied and pasted into saved_games, such as abcdefghi.lg or xyzzzzz.lg? Does your league file have any spaces and dashes as my different extractor shows spaces and dashes in the .lg filename?

I do want to try out your work but something went wrong for me. Maybe answers to these questions will help.

UPDATE
The 24 hour timeout seems to allow downloads right now so I did a new download and extraction. This time I did not copy and paste the whole file into saved_games as I first opened the extracted file and only copied and pasted the non-MACOS folder into saved_games (as Windows user). This time the file appeared in the game under saved games and I am in business.

I got everything setup and I set myself to act as the Mets guy. Then i looked at the settings and it has me making all decisions for the team. but yet someone keeps signing FA for my team without me doing it

What setting do I have wrong?

Not sure how long that error message stays for too many downloads.

Update version 2 works wonderful I played all exhibition games and I'm up to opening day with no crashes version is rock solid stable when I'm in version 3 and playing an exhibition game if I click on skip 1/2 inning or full inning it crashes to desktop on version 3 must be a bug or something so I'm just using version 2

Happens to me too, but was also a problem in an older franchise so it could easily be unrelated.

Thanks for the amazing work you do, CBL! Not the end of the world, but figured I'd flag for you as someone who is obviously committed to immersion — many (most) of the best DSL prospects are free agents in your file, so as soon as you turn on AI moves they all get scooped up by random teams. Not a big deal for guys who are unlikely to make it stateside, but this includes a number of legit prospects from last year's class like the Rangers' Sebastian Walcott, the Mariners' Felnin Celesten, et al... as well as this year's top guys, like Leo DeVries of the Padres.

Certainly don't want to nitpick given how much work you obviously put into this, but thought you'd like to know. Thanks again for this service!

Really odd. I know those 3 you mentioned above start out on their respective teams in the roster file. Are they duplicated in the file perhaps? I’m not at cpu so cannot check right now.

You're absolutely right — I re-downloaded, and think I figured out the issue. When the game advances to Spring Training, everyone in an International Complex becomes a free agent (not sure if that's a glitch, or completely normal?). That's about 650 guys who lose their teams.

Easy problem to solve — I'm just promoting all IC guys to their respective DSL teams before doing anything else.

One other flag — and I'm assuming this is a database issue rather than anything you're doing — is that players from the '23 draft who didn't sign are all still on minor league rosters (these are guys like Phoenix Call, Caden Kendle, et al., who are in college in real life). Not mentioning to ask anything of you — just figured it might be helpful to flag these sorts of things. Thanks again for everything!

Running into a problem with the Astros where a player named Carlos Montes is stuck on the IL but does not show up on it for whatever reason. I’ve been unable to remove this player and can’t find him in any of the rosters or player lists.

This is weird…
In my test sims of the 2024 seasons I have not seen this for the international players.

I checked a few and those players specifically still on respective teams.

Anyone else having this issue?
