Mevagissey take the lead, but it's still anyone's. The action will intensify a bit towards the end of the season (Bruno and Terra Incognita will comfortably qualify.

Bronze
Port Ruppert is having a solid season, but Aceldama swept Savannah to keep their unblemished record heading into their final four-game showdown with Colorado Springs. The Butchers only need to win 3 of 4 to capture the OL B230 flag.

In a case of very disappointing scheduling (SC may disagree
), and with only 3 games left between Claptown and Doug Outs, Silver is done prematurely. Accolades to follow tomorrow.

In an even more disappointing case of scheduling... There are also only 3 games left to play in Iron, which I find almost unbelievable! Anyway, Bruno play Terra Incognita and need 2 wins to take the crown, so at least there's some suspense!.

I did some totting up this morning. Mount Hawke have pulled 76 historical silvers, 50 historical golds, 16 historical diamonds... 0 historical perfects and 1 live perfect. Hmm.
It seems that one of my suggestions for LE cards (from the LE Johnny Mize thing in '22) has been added to the game, and the first I knew of it was seeing it in the card shop. So much for the "Official" forums being at the cutting edge. |

Diamond league:
It'll be a fun final month, as Aomori and Waxhaw will face off 7 times. Haven't calculated all the various possible outcomes, but New York has 3 OL games vs Waxhaw as well to pull their season total to the minimum 10 games, so there's an outside chance they might nab the crown while everyone else beats up on each other. Overall, Aomori is the only OL team in a playoff position at the moment (2nd WC spot); while Waxhaw and Waffletown sit in relegation territory for a trip back to Gold. |

It could be a wild finish in Stone. Card Era will be ineligible for the title, with only 7 OL games on their schedule, but all four other teams still have a path to victory.
Grovers Mill and Belo Horizonte go head-to-head 10 more times, while Columbia's OL schedule is finished. If Long Beach can sweep their 3-game set with Card Era, while the other two beat up on each other, the Landsharks could claim the crown. |

yeah.... there is a special edition sticky post but I don't see the Mize card in there... just had my point total bump by 15K.... had to check the transaction log... must have won the call your shot last night (think I fell asleep midway through the stream but in my defense I woke up at 3am yesterday and rather than go back to sleep for a few hours just got up and headed out for a 7 hour drive back home, so it was a long day)

I haven't even watched a stream yet (or had a single drop)! At the moment they're at 2am, which ain't doable. Isn't that your 2nd call your shot?: |

Nice to see the Butchers win a crown in their return to OL. They won a crown back in PT 19, before masquerading as the Asylum Keepers in PT 20-22. It's slightly embarrassing, though, since I whined about them only having seven OL games on the first day. I missed the games versus Savannah. (Hint: Savannah please add the "+" to your SD abbreviation.) |

GOLD Level Status
A bit early to post this week's results, but since Gold isn't official with only 3 teams - and the fact all OL games have been played - AND the fact I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, I thought I'd post the status of Gold while I had some time.

Grovers Mill had the opportunity to wrap up the OL St114 late Saturday during their four-game set with Belo Horizonte, and seemed well on their way to doing just that after taking the first two games easily. Clayton Kershaw and Norm Charlton combined on a four-hitter in the opener. The Invaders followed that with a 5-3 win, setting up a possible pennant-clinching victory against struggling Peasants hurler, Mike Krukow.
But Krukow managed to limit the Invaders to one run over 8 innings, and the Peasants escaped with a 2-1, 11-inning win. With one more chance to earn the title, the Invaders once again were taken to extra innings, losing in 10 to a determined Peasants squad. Grovers Mill will have three more chances to capture the flag when they host the Peasants in the season's final series. Should Belo Horizonte find a way to do the impossible and sweep the Invaders on the road, Columbia would take the title. |

Silver League
Congratulations to the SaukCentre Landsharks!
The Maniacs had some kind of breakdown to go 0-6 to the Doug outs down the stretch, leaving the Landsharks clear for a landmark victory. Just the three teams in the NC half of the playoffs. No teams relegated. |
